[p]SNØ 1.0.03.16 contains the following changes: [/p][p][/p]

• [p] 🚁 Improved action cam - The most erratic action cams now track the player in a different way*, making it possible to steer your way out of "impossible" camera angles. [/p]
• [p] 👙 Skin pattern fix - Fixed minor graphical issue with one of the summer skin patterns. [/p]

[p][/p][p]* 🚁 For nerds only: The action cameras swerving around the player now use another forward direction in order to calculate it's desired position. Instead of using the player model's current forward (which changes all the time depending on how you lean and flip) it uses the player position relative to the top of the mountain, a much more stable reference direction. It is July, it is summer, and Christer and I are about to take a well deserved summer vacation! 😎 Before we go we thought we'd drop a special summer surprise!

Some of you suggested adding a sand mode to SNØ a while back, and since it's summer and Dune-fever: We did! We also threw together a limited summer skin drop to go with it so you can go sand surfing with style!

Additions

• 🌟 Thread the needle points - Get bonus points for passing through certain obstacles featuring holes
  
• 🗻 Big rock scoring - You now get points for riding close to any obstacle, also cliffs and big rocks

• 🖱️Mouse scrolling bug - You can now scroll saved mountains using the mouse
  
• 🔃 Reload level freeze - Fixed edge case bug causing game to hang on retry
  

[p]We're back from the dead - with a sweet new update! 🤩

We've spent the last month giving the mountain generator in SNØ a bit of an overhaul, based on our own observations and on some of the feedback from you guys!

The main motivation behind this update was to make SNØ feel more varied - for beginners and experts alike. We've added some brand new biomes and tuned parameters to allow for more varied starting scenarios as well as new discoveries to be made further down the mountain.

Here are all the new features included in SNØ 1.0.03.09

Additions[/p]

• [p]🚠 Biomes - 6 brand new biomes to be discovered[/p]
• [p]🌤️ Clouds - Slight chance for cloudy skies[/p]
• [p]❄️ Frost - Slight chance for frosted obstacles (cosmetic effect only)[/p]
• [p]🌾 Vegetation - Smaller, non-lethal vegetation can grow close to bigger obstacles[/p]
• [p]👕 Skins - New skin patterns and colors[/p]
• [p]🪘 UI sounds - Sounds play as you navigate the UI[/p]
• [p]🔊 Audio Preview - Audio samples play when adjusting the audio sliders[/p]

• [p]🏔️ Extreme terrain - Terrain have a chance to get much more extreme than before[/p]
• [p]🔀 More variation - New and more balanced selection of starter biomes[/p]
• [p]🎿 Grinding - Improved steering on grindable objects[/p]

• [p] 🐞 Fog bug - Improved draw distance on some quality settings[/p]
• [p] 🐛 Lighting bug - Glowing skins and grind sparks will no longer mess up blizzards[/p]
• [p] 🪰 Photomode cam - The camera will no longer go below ground[/p]
• [p] 🪲 Selection bug - Exiting wardrobe with gamepad will now highlight play button correctly[/p]

[p][/p][p]🤔 So, what about the old mountains? 🤔 [/p][p]They're safe! Saved mountains and leaderboard mountains can still be played. Notice that the sharable seed of legacy mountains have been appended with "-1" signifying they were made using the V-1 world generator. If you ever feel nostalgic, simply append "-1" to any mountain seed and it will generate a mountain using the old settings.[/p][p][/p][p]As always, if you have any feedback on the new changes or the game in general, let us know here in the Steam forum or on our Discord!
