FragPunk Launches on March 6th, 2025!

Hey Lancers,

We’re excited to announce that FragPunk will launch on all platforms on March 6th, 2025. Get ready to bend the rules in this epic 5v5 tactical shooter with Shard Cards that change the rules for each round. All Shard Cards will be completely free and accessible at launch and beyond, ensuring you can always take part in the mayhem. FragPunk will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

At The Game Awards, alongside the exciting reveal of our launch date, we showcased two of the several new Shard Cards coming to the game. Among the latest entries are the “Small Head” and “World Flip” cards, bringing fresh dynamics and strategic possibilities to your gameplay experience.

FragPunk will feature full crossplay support across all platforms at launch, allowing you and your friends to play together, regardless of the platform you are using.

For a genre built entirely on the appeal of its characters, recent hero shooters have woefully lacked spice and creativity. Poor, forgettable designs have made recent failures and underwhelming hero shooters on the horizon (sorry Concord and Project Ethos) look like trend chasers showing up years late to the party. After seeing what happened to Concord, I can imagine any studio making a new PvP shooter is probably feeling a bit nervous. At least, in the case of NetEase's FragPunk, it's got a very novel (and extremely cool) FPS gimmick to help it stand out from the crowd in the form of deckbuilding. As a big FPS fan, this is one of my most anticipated upcoming releases, and right now you've got a chance to try it out thanks to its new closed beta.

FragPunk Twitch Drops Event WATCH LIVESTREAMS TO CLAIM BETA CODE

Event Details:
Bending the rules in FragPunk is as easy as connect, watch, and claim! Connect your Twitch account on the FragPunk website and watch streams under the FragPunk category. If you watch at least 60 minutes of FragPunk content, then you will earn your chance at one of our Twitch Drops. Once you have completed at least 60 minutes,head over to the FragPunk Twitch Drop official website to claim your Steam Beta activation code!

Missed out on keys today? Try your luck again the next day without having to complete the watch requirements again! During the three-day Twitch Drop event, you have a total of three opportunities to grab these"first come, first served" keys!

Drops Schedule:
From October 11-13, the CBT keys will refresh daily, On the first and second day start at 00:00 AM UTC+0.

On the third round, we will have a different time slot to ensure that players from different regions do not have to stay up late or wake up early. So on the last day of the Twitch Drop, we will start distributing keys at 19:00 UTC+0.

Rules & Process:
Ensure your Twitch account is connected on this page for watch time to count.
Each Twitch account can only claim one key, and it can only be used once and can only be activated on the Steam platform.
Watch at least 60 minutes in the FragPunk category with enabled Twitch Drops to claim your own CBT key.
After completing 60 minutes of watch time, you are eligible for any subsequent key drops. If you didn't claim the code on the same day, just refresh the page the next day to redeem it without having to complete the task again.

What are Twitch Drops?
Twitch Drops are rewards you can earn by watching FragPunk streams on Twitch. During the Twitch Drops campaign (from October 11th to October 14th, 2024), watch any stream that has enabled FragPunk Twitch Drops for a chance to earn a CBT activation code.

What can I do if linking my Twitch account fails?
The most common cause of a failed account connection is that one or more of your accounts may already be linked. You can check the current Twitch connections by logging into your Twitch account, selecting "Settings," and then the "Connections" tab. This will display a list of the accounts that are connected and allow you to add or remove connections as you wish.

Which streamers can I watch during the campaign?
All Twitch streamers are eligible to participate in this Twitch Drops campaign. Streamers must ensure they have enabled Drops on their account and actively stream in the FragPunk category. You can check out the FragPunk directory to find participating streams.

How to use the key
Launch Steam, navigate to the menu bar and select "Games," then choose "Activate a Product on Steam." Input the Steam key you've received (format reference: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX), and follow the prompts to install and play FragPunk
