• [p]•Fixed an issue where overlapping text was displayed during the opening scene of the tutorial when using a language setting other than Japanese or English.[/p]

• [p]•Fixed an issue where an error would occur, causing termination when a multiplayer session was disbanded or forcibly terminated.[/p]
• [p]When an enhancement item is unlocked in the player enhancement menu, the item will now be marked as NEW.[/p]
• [p]The following Sound Effects now support the volume settings in Options - Audio.[/p]
  • [p]Adjust the volume of system input effects[/p]
  • [p]Sound effects when purchasing items in shops, unlocking items in player strengthening menus, etc.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where the game would become unresponsive after switching tabs following a sort operation on the quest board.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where the rhythm command in Advanced Settings would cause the tutorial to become unplayable.[/p]
• [p]Fixed an issue where the camera behaved unexpectedly when Ratatan touched the healing spring placed immediately after entering World 2.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, if the pause menu was left open for a period of time, the boss monster's attacks would no longer register after unpausing.[/p]

An issue has been identified in which the in-game music and rhythm gauge may become unsynchronized under certain conditions, such as low frame rates or specific hardware environments.
The development team is aware of this problem and is currently working on a fix.
As a temporary measure, we recommend the following:

• Restart your PC
  
• Close all applications other than RATATAN and Steam
  

An issue has been identified in which the playtime displayed in save data is shared across all save slots, rather than being recorded individually.

An issue has been identified in which certain characters are not displayed correctly in French, and are replaced with □ symbols.

An issue has been identified in which text overlaps during the opening cutscene when the language is set to French, Italian, or German.

An issue has been identified in which the staff credits do not play correctly when accessed from the Options menu during gameplay.
Please note that this issue does not occur when accessed outside of gameplay.

An issue has been identified in which background music may play at unintended timings during the tutorial sequence if the pause menu is opened during or before the event in which the Melodium is obtained.

An issue has been identified in which, when the Rhythm Command setting is set to “Advance,” successful rhythm command names are not displayed within the rhythm gauge.

An issue has been identified in which, when the Rhythm Command setting is set to “Default,” the following rhythm commands are not displayed correctly within the rhythm gauge despite successful input:

• Hustle Tech 2
  
• Guard
  
• Jump
  

An issue has been identified in which the camera may occasionally move to an unintended position when approaching the Healing Spring in Bad Day on Yeehawler Mountain.

The Ratatan Demo is now live on Steam!

In this demo, you can experience the Intro Scene and Tutorial, followed by two early-game worlds:

• Pirates of Parabbean; inspired by Caribbean pirates
  
• Bad Day on Yeehawler Mountain; a high-speed, Wild Western-themed stage
  

You’ll also be able to choose from four Ratatan to play as:

• Harigitta; a vanguard wielding a sword and shield
  
• Nyandola; a mid-range distance attacker
  
• Pyokorappa; a high-offense spear charger
  
• Mimizukkyun; a distance archer
  

Form your party however you like, you can opt for balance or specialize in a specific weapon type!

The demo also features online co-op for up to 4 players, so you can team up and take on the rhythm together.

Estimated playtime is roughly 1 to 2 hours, giving you a solid glimpse into the world of Ratatan.

We've had lots of requests so now it gives me great pleasure to announce the opening of the Ratatan public demo landing page on Steam!
