Today we would like to share with you some concept arts of Zeebo - a real menace to adventure-seekers in Royal Quest!

But what was Zeebo's journey from concept art to becoming a game character?

Royal Quest's team regularly comes up with new content, as you know. Game designers and artists meet to share their thoughts, sketch and record the results of endless brainstorm sessions, so that they can come back to them when the time is ripe.

And so the idea for a new boss was hovering in the air. Yet another meeting, another round of fierce debate. Our creative team was discussing the monster's appearance, sharing concepts and making drafts, while a cheerful toothy mimic was looking at them from the whiteboard.... Before long, it all came together!

Zeebo was added to the game on April 9, 2024. He's a true master of mimicry: Zeebo replicates other bosses' attacks and changes elements right during combat. He is also a sort of “test of the pen” - the first boss created by the renewed Royal Quest team.

We are already working on more and more bosses, but it's a story for another time!

Fixes

— "Card of Zeebo"works properly when switching locations;
— When moving to a different location, Hunter’s "Shotgun Hunt" talent will not trigger a cooldown anymore.

Also, Merchants’ and active premium accounts’ durations have been extended for the period of maintenance works.

And that's not even all of it! Royal Quest team wanted to give thanks for the game's Steam number (which are quite impressive) and reward every player that logged in between December 19, 2024 and January 27, 2025 with Royal Palace Compliments Second Grade👏

🛠️On January 28, from 05 AM (UTC), servers will undergo planning maintenance. Estimated completion time: 9 AM (UTC).

The active Premium accounts' and Trading spots' time will be extended for the downtime.

Maintenance works will be completed at 12 PM (CET) 🔥

The “Royal Inspiration” bonus will be activated on all servers until January 26, 10 PM (CET), granting you the following:

+25% EXP when for defeating monsters and completing quests;
+ 10% to item drop chance from bosses' chests.

Important note: transferring items between Steam Inventory and in-game characters will be temporarily unavailable when the works are over. All items will remain in the inventory and will be able for transferring after the in-game trade system is rebooted.
