Our team is actively tracking your works on social media and would like to honor our community's most talented creators. We are thrilled to announce that we are launching a contest for the best Royal Quest video, where the winner will be awarded a Legendary Dragon Treasure Box!


Here are the rules:

- Film a vertical video featuring Royal Quest. It can be anything: a funny sketch, gameplay footage or even your pro tip for other players;
- Upload it to your YouTube, Tik-Tok, Instagram or Likee channel between December 28, 2024 and January 14 (inclusively), 2025;
- Ensure the video is available to everyone and add the hashtags #royalquest and #royalquestonline in the description;
- Join the official Royal Quest Online Discord server;
- Send the link to your video to the special “Video Contest” channel (in Discord) and specify the server and the nickname of the character to which you want us to send the reward in case of winning;
- Editing a comment with a video link is forbidden;
- Every participant can upload an unlimited number of videos;
- By posting a video, the author confirms that the materials used are created by them or taken from other sources with the permission of the authors of used materials;
- Royal Quest team reserves the right to not accept videos that violate the Community Rules or contain inappropriate content.

How do we pick the winner?

On January 14, Royal Quest team will pick the best work and then count community votes to choose a second winner!
Yes, you heard right! There will be two winners: one of whom will be chosen by the players!
The author of the video that gets the most 👍 (thumbs up) reactions in “Video contest” channel between December 28, 2024 and January 14, 2025 (inclusively) will become the second winner.


What are the rewards?

Legendary Dragon Treasure Box — each containing 38 appearance items from 2024 Boxes: skins, mounts, decorations and more!
Rewards will be added to the winners' accounts between January 15 and January 21.


Turn on your cameras, kick off the screen recording and don't miss the chance to grab the biggest reward of the passing year!

Dear friends, there are a lot of new things released in the game today, but the key events are:

1. Event “Snow Festival” (will end on January 14).
   
2. Additional event “Dancing with Dragons” (will end on January 14).
   
3. Offer “Box and Souvenir Sets from the East” (will end on January 14).
   

The holiday season is just around the corner, which means it’s time to join the Snow Festival in Royal Quest Online! During this winter event, players can look forward to not only familiar activities from previous years but also brand-new quests and mechanics. Rush over to Nicholas Colaus (in Varlone) and make your way to Snow Island, where a festive atmosphere awaits along with some delightful rewards!

As a reminder, any Maiden in Varlone can transfer a player to Snow Island.





In addition to the Snow Festival, we’re excited to introduce a brand new activity for Royal Quest, "Dancing with Dragons”. For the first time, players will experience a new reward system featuring a progression scale for completing quests.

This event is unlocked after you complete the questline of the Snow Island Keeper (Island Keeper NPC) - including its final quest titled "Snows of Yesteryear. Dancing under the Christmas Tree".



Let’s dive deeper into the progression system:

• Complete Nicholas Colaus quests and other festive characters to earn special points known as Holiday Energy.
  
• These points will help you progress in the "Dancing with Dragons" activity and unlock new rewards.
  
• Unlocked awards can be picked up (RMB) until Snowfest is over (by January 14).
  

How can you earn special points?

• Daily Quests
  

Defeat frost creatures, gather resources, and brew New Year’s elixirs to earn progression points for the "Dancing with Dragons" event.

• Regular Quests
  

Last year’s quests are back with new rewards! You’ll need to defeat Frost Grollings, deliver gifts to children, and throw snowballs.


Special Rewards

During the "Dancing with Dragons" activity, players can use scales obtained from the 2024 events to claim special rewards.



Among the rewards of Dances with Dragons:
- a new pet Da Zhi,
- a new mount Cloud Deity,
- a six-piece Tranzample set the Voice of the Celestial Deity.
and more.

Players who gather 5000 units of Holiday Energy will receive:

• Achievement: “How Do You Like My Armor?”
  
• Title: “Dragonheart”
  

The most active players of Royal Quest Online that have collected all 8 event scales throughout 2024 will recieve:

• Achievement: “If I Were a Dragon...”
  
• Title: “Winged”
  
• Unique decoration: “Celestial Deity Claws”
  

Eastern Souvenir Boxes costs 29 Reales.
Once you open the box, you will receive one of the following items:

• Tor Toise Sealing Wax,
  
• Da Zhi pet,
  
• Clod Deity mount,
  
• Arconite Sealing Wax,
  
• Philosopher's Stones etc.
  

But perhaps the most interesting items that can be obtained from these Boxes are:

1. Dragon Treasure Box. From it you can get one of almost fifty decorative items (they appeared in the game over the last year) - a mount, a decoration, a pet, a costume, or a set of Tranzamples.
2. Legendary Dragon Treasure Box. From it you can get ALL (!) of the decorative items that have appeared in the game over the last year.
3. Eltanite. This is a new in-game entity that allows a character to be resurrected in the same place if they are killed in battle.

It's also worth mentioning that those Boxes are sold either one at a time or in sets:
30, 50, 100, and 300 boxes each. You can find them in the in-game store. Those sets contain not only boxes but also some additional resources.

After a maintenance work on December 27, the following changes occured.

STARTED:

• Event “Snow Festival” (will end on January 14).

• “Philosophical Blessing” Offer.
  
• “Brilliant memories Packs” Offer.
  

CHANGED:

• Increased the number of Catalysts required to create a Tranzample.
  
• There is a new item in the game: Warehouse Ticket.
  

Allows you to open a warehouse when there are no Maidens nearby.
Works in a limited number of locations.
Spends when used.

• There is a new item in the game: Eltanite.
  

Can be used for resurrection at the exact spot where you were killed.
Just like resurrection for Reales.

• The list of items that can be placed on the Steam Market has been expanded.
  

These items are affected by all the previously mentioned rules for posting on the Steam Market.

• Fixed incorrect change of weapon characteristics when using flamethrower with Sniper class.
  
• Fixed Ancient Treasure Hunter map not working correctly.
  
• Fixed some visual bugs and errors in text descriptions.
  
• Updated the icon of the item Flower of Eltan.
