Update 2024.7(Controller Support + More zombie variety)
Features:
-Controller Support has been added to the game -Two additional zombies have been added to the game to increase variation(Each have some skin variations that are random, so total zombie variations should be around 16 now)

At this point, I'm happy to report that everything from the September/October portion of the roadmap has been implemented in the game.

As you'll see, from here on out, there will be a bigger focus on adding new content in the form of weapons and maps. These updates might be a bit slower to get out there, so just wanted to set expectations before hand of what to expect over the next few months. Right now, I will most likely have a new weapon ready within the next month.

Please continue to leave feedback, as I'm constantly keeping an eye out for it. Also, please consider leaving a Steam review if you have time.

Thanks for playing,

PC Player Flashlight hotfix

Update 2024.6(New PC weapon, New VR attachment, Reload animation overhaul)

Features
New PC Player Weapon - AR-762

New PC Player Reload Animations
- All of the PC player's FPS view animations have been remade by someone who actually knows what they're doing. Germanban, the developer of the excellent Escape from Mandrillia, found some time to completely overhaul these animations that have bothered me for the longest time. I hope you'll agree that they are a massive improvement:

More new animations:
New Attachment(VR Player) Laser Sight
- This can be unlocked via an L2 supply drop
Changes to Setting up Co-op Play
- This has been a much requested feature. Prior to this update, the VR player had to toggle a button below the map in order to turn on local co-op. Now in the main menu, the PC player can simply press the spacebar to hop right in and start choosing their load out immediately.

I was originally going to include controller support(for the PC player) with this update, but decided to split it up in favor of releasing this earlier. I'm hoping to have controller support ready by the end of October.

Thanks for playing, and please consider leaving a Steam review once you've had enough time with the game!

Sprint, Post Processing, and Smooth Turn Speed Adjustments(Patch 2024.5.12.3)

Features
Sprint -
I've heard your feedback loud and clear. The player can now click their left joystick and can sprint for a short distance. Currently, it lasts 3 seconds and boosts your speed by around 50%. It takes 10 seconds to fully recharge. You will notice a new sprint meter(pictured below) on your left hand that will show you it's current status.

My main concern with sprint is the possibility for it to drastically affect the gameplay loop(Make scavenging too easy, or slow zombies even less of a threat). In it's current form it seems to have a negligible impact. I'm open to tweaking this based on your feedback and I'm also thinking that this is something that the player will eventually be able to level up with repeated use.
Post Processing -
Added Bloom and Color grading effects for both players. Lights now have a soft glow to them and the game has additional contrast and slight saturation improvements.
Smooth Turning Speed Adjustment -
A few players complained that the smooth turning speed was too slow and that it should be adjustable. So now you can do just that in the options menu in your base. Scales from 1-10. Let me know if any additional tweaks need to be made.

Please consider leaving a Steam review after you've had time to assess the game. Thanks so much for playing!
