[p]Thank you so much to everyone who contributed! It means a great deal :')[/p][p]The system is somewhat bare-bones at the moment, but will be expanded to eventually allow for repositioning and toggling decorations. This will happen after I finally rest a little, but it's the next minor update's main goal.[/p][p][/p]
New Roadmap
[p]The previous roadmap was made far too early into development, and with less understanding of my achievable pace. This Roadmap aims to fix that moving forward. Each column represents the goals of a major named update, and are a mix of new content and much-needed polish.[/p][p][/p][p]The idea is to have each column finished around 3 months after the former one, and is sized to where that should be achievable, but life is unpredictable so no promises other than that I'll do my best. Early-Access extends beyond this roadmap, but this should cover about the next year or so.[/p][p][/p]
And Finally, the Changelog
[p][/p]
NEW CONTENT:
[p]- Story Continuation - 'a cold wind blows'[/p][p]- New Locale with a new mechanic: Heat[/p][p]- New(er) Locale on top of that[/p][p]- New Monster with it's own Ultimate Move[/p][p]- Anniversary Event: Unlock permanent decor for your village made by the community![/p][p]- New Crafting mechanic: Furnace[/p][p]- New Recipes for the Furnace[/p][p]- New Locale Items[/p][p]- Armor Reinforcement system to upgrade the defense of existing pieces[/p][p]- New tier of 'stoonmelt'[/p][p]- Multiple new pieces of dialogue[/p][p]- New NPC Portraits[/p][p]- Can finally plant petrified seedpods, and potentially use them elsewhere...[/p][p]- Village Donations, a way to streamline future construction upgrades[/p][p]- Multiple new Farm and Workshop upgrades[/p][p]- Isle 2 finally has a dynamic map[/p][p]- Objectives 26 - 30[/p]
NEW QOL:
[p]- Isle Manifest - Automatically load your boats with items to transport between Isles[/p][p]- Notifications pop up at the bottom of the screen to inform you of notable things[/p][p]- Can now 'right-click' a boat name to rename it[/p][p]- Important Dialogue is now tracked in the Diary/Objectives box[/p][p]- Volume slider in settings; better late than never![/p][p]- Can now sort Inventory (alphabetically with some exceptions, Eg. monster parts are grouped by monster)[/p]
CHANGES:
[p]- Boats on the map are much bigger and sway in the waves[/p][p]- Can't skip past very specific important dialogue boxes[/p][p]- Ieyllyn has new dialogue to hint at unlocking Drai[/p][p]- Tweaks to how group dialogue is presented[/p][p]- Slightly increased the cost of the Wardrobe upgrade, to encourage gathering certain resources[/p][p]- 'potion' renamed to 'consumable' in Inventory item descriptions[/p][p]- Can now click through Music box anywhere that isn't a playback button[/p][p]- 'Fused Staff' recipe unlock moved to when the Furnace is unlocked, as it now requires the Furnace to make[/p][p]- 'Upload Save' changed to 'Load Save'[/p][p]- Changed the categorization of some items (such as ship parts)[/p][p]- Changed the in-game Dock map-projection so that x and y are on the same scale again[/p][p]- Buttons to change crafting categories look more like buttons, and added categories[/p][p]- Changed Fert and Stoonmelt naming to keep more consistency across how item tiers are presented[/p][p]- Changed "ship parts (basic)" to "ship parts (simple)" for sorting reasons[/p][p]- Consumable names are now shown on the Quest Automation screen[/p][p]- 'Hunter Upgrades' columns now condense when all upgrades for a Hunter have been bought[/p][p]- Easter event 'eggs' are canonically forgotten about after the event ends (changed description)[/p][p]- Changed some song names[/p]
FIXES:
[p]- Hunter Images no longer reload every time you change tab[/p][p]- Fixed speech-bubble text going off-screen when playing at smaller scales[/p][p]- Fixed character Dialogue Alerts not disappearing from the tabs when they should [/p][p]- Farms now visually display the seed you have growing even between reloads, and are just generally more visually consistent with the seed selection list[/p][p]- Drai moves to 'Quests' tab at the right time before reload[/p][p]- Made some quest name capitalization more consistent[/p][p]- 'Add \[1] Moss' changed to 'Add \[1] S. Clump', since Soothing Clump is the item it ultimately uses[/p][p]- Quest Log Text no longer goes offscreen[/p][p]- Changed 'crevice' to 'crevasse'[/p][p]- The 'have' text on the Farm's Fertilizer box should now update correctly[/p][p]- Village Construction tab no longer has a yellow notification every reload[/p][p]- The Refinery no longer generates infinite smoke[/p][p]- Implemented some previously un-triggerable Minrah dialogue[/p][p]- Settings window now visually remembers your tab size[/p][p]- The menu now properly plays music, as it was intended to for months. Maybe no one noticed this.[/p][p]- Aryll's coloring is finally consistent[/p][p]- Can longer change Hunter's equipment after they've auto-departed[/p][p]- Hunters can now successfully rest even when they try to grab tools automatically[/p]

1st Birthday Community Exhibit
Isles of Silence is celebrating it's 1st-Year Anniversary on July 25th!
[p][/p][p]To celebrate the occasion, the next major content update (which is getting quite beefy!) will be launching alongside an updated store page, a new trailer, an updated roadmap, and more! [/p][p][/p][p]It's also my sincere pleasure to introduce the "Community Exhibit", a chance to get art from the community as permanent buildable decorations in the game to celebrate. Simply submit any "Isles" related art in the '#community-art' channel on the Lonely Frontier Discord over the next 30 days to have a chance to get it put into the game as village decor to spice up your Isle! Whether you're a true artist or a hobbyist like myself, all levels of skill are welcome and encouraged! [/p][p][/p][p]For full guidelines, submission criteria, and further information, please refer to the following document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11HLAOStqOfyPsiHRXfxnvEOJQ-zhZWmhwGkwiCzV6TY[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you all for taking the time to play my game, leaving feedback and reviews, and for helping make this game the best it can be![/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Easter is here!
*ahem*
Easter was here!
Introducing Isle's first (belated) Seasonal Event!
Our resident artist, in a burst of inspiration, concocted an absolutely majestic Easter costume one evening. Refusing to let such a vivid masterpiece go to waste, I suddenly realized it was necessary to implement a small event and an entire Layered Armor system to accommodate.
This update also includes a couple new features that were ready enough to be pushed alongside the event, including the oft-requested Equipment Sets! New story content is in the works and coming along nicely, but wasn't at the level of polish/balance I wanted it to be at to make in time for this update. However, it should be on its way soon~
Features
• Become the egg! Eggs have started appearing around the Isles, and only you seem to have noticed. Collect 8 different eggs from across the locales and various systems, and the "Tercet Best" layered armor is yours to keep! It offers no stat benefits, but can visually appear above any armor you choose to wear! The event runs until May 5th, at which point all the eggs will vanish as mysteriously as they came.
 • Equipment Sets! Swap hunters between entire sets of Armor/Weapons at the touch of a button! Once unlocked through Village Construction, you will be able to create 2 separate Equipment loadouts and quickly switch your Hunters between them whenever desired. No more unoptimized gathering because it was too much a pain to swap back and forth (hopefully)! More equipment sets will be unlocked with future updates.
 • Achievements! This has been in the cards for a long while, and the bones of it are finally here! Unlock 12 achievements, and bask in the completion number going up! Currently very early in its implementation, but it's robust enough that Steam Achievements should finally be coming with the next content update!

Full patch notes:

- Easter Event! Collect Eggs to get purely cosmetic layered armor!

- Hunter HP Bars are always visible on the Quest page if below max health
CHANGES:

- Hunters' equip boxes change color to show which item you're hovering over
- Expeditions now allow auto-return when all tools are broken
