Steam Next Fest Recap

Hey everyone,

Wow—what a ride! Steam Next Fest has come to an end, and we just want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who checked out Pao Pao!

Seeing so many of you jump into the demo, leave reviews, share feedback, and even post your best (and worst) kitchen moments has been absolutely incredible. As developers, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching people actually play the game we’ve been pouring our hearts into.

What We Learned

Your feedback has been invaluable. We got tons of great suggestions, bug reports, and ideas that are already helping us shape Pao Pao into a better game. From UI tweaks to gameplay balance, we’re listening, and we’re already working on improvements.

If you had fun with the demo, please consider wishlisting Pao Pao—it really helps us out and makes sure you don’t miss any updates!

This has been an amazing experience, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks again for playing, sharing, and supporting our little chaotic kitchen adventure. We can’t wait to show you what’s next!

See you soon,

— The ArtDock Team

Pao Pao Pet Cooking Contest

Hey, Pao Pao chefs,

Do your pets love to "help" in the kitchen? Maybe they wait by the stove for a taste test, sit on the counter watching your every move, or just nap while you cook. Now’s your chance to celebrate them.

We’re launching the Pao Pao Pet Cooking Contest—and we want to see YOUR furry, feathery, or scaly sous-chefs in action.

How to Participate:

  1. Snap a photo of your pet "helping" you cook. (Any kind of help counts—supervising, taste-testing, or just looking adorable.)
  2. Post it on Instagram (artdock) or Twitter/X (@Pao_Pao_steam), tag us, and use the hashtag #PaoPao.

Pao Pao Demo - Patch #1

Hey everyone,

We’re excited to roll out the first update for the Pao Pao demo. Thanks so much for all the feedback — we’re listening and working hard to improve the experience. Here’s what’s new in Patch 1:

Changes
  • Added a modal window prompting players to link their accounts.
  • You can now throw any dish directly into the trash — no more extra steps.

Fixes

  • Resolved EOS server authorization issues for smoother connectivity.
  • Fixed gamepad input problems in the magnet minigame — it should work properly now.
  • Adjusted some UI layouts for a better visual experience.
  • Corrected a few localization strings for clearer in-game text.
  • Fixed an issue where the main objective in the quest wasn’t updating as it should.

We’ll keep improving Pao Pao based on your feedback, so feel free to share your thoughts and stay tuned for more updates.

Thanks for playing!
