Playtest round #3 finished - registration for round #4 open

Playtest Patch 0.5.9

Hi,

last playtest patch for this round just landed.

Changes
  • Fixed (regression from 0.5.8): Smaller enemies not attacking anymore, oops.
  • Balancing: Invincible for several frames when opening an airdrop
  • Balancing: Airdrops can be opened ~1s earlier now.
  • Improved: Stopwatch changes to red color when night starts.

Playtest Patch 0.5.8

Hi,

we just released another patch for the current playtest version.

Changes
- Added visual feedback when powerup is equipped / cooled down
- Added escape key support for closing meta panels
- Selected character is saved now
- Weapon positions bit lower now
- Fixed that robot arm did not cap properly
- Fixed hickups in inventory when upgrading / placing bags
- Fixed memory leak
- Fixed apple counter not ticking up in game over screen
- Some performance improvements (at least baseline)

Playtest patch 0.5.7

Hi survivors,

another patch has landed for Playtest #3.

Changes
  • Fixed an issue causing the game to crash when loading the next level.
  • Resolved a freeze that occurred when losing on the boss map.
  • Adjusted the hitboxes of larger enemies for better balance.
  • Fixed a bug where spamming the space bar in the base would sometimes reopen menus.
  • Resolved an issue where upgrades were not saved when returning to the desktop.
  • Fixed a bug where item affection markers were not removed when selling an item from the backpack.

Playtest hotfix 0.5.6

Hi,

we just released a playtest hotfix which fixes the following issues:
  • Game froze sometimes when loading (especially smaller) maps
  • Damage of Banana person item not scaling with player level. Furthermore it didn't deal damage on hit, just on explosion. Should be way stronger now.
  • Typo in magnet item description
