Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available on Steam!

Step into the robes of Basim Ibn Ishaq as he grows from amateur thief to master Assassin.

A shorter, more narrative-driven game than recent entries in the series, Assassin's Creed Mirage takes place 20 years before the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Built as an homage to the first Assassin's Creed games, Mirage pays tribute to the series' roots, as players join the proto-Assassin order known as the Hidden Ones and grow to become a master assassin. Baghdad in the ninth century was a bustling metropolis, and it serves as the perfect dense, urban hunting ground as Basim stalks his prey using the series' largest assortment of tools to date.

While they haven't quite adopted the name "Assassins" at this point in history, make no mistake: The Hidden Ones are a powerful and established order, with resources and the all-important creed to guide them. As Basim explores Baghdad, he'll be able to get contracts and upgrades from a network of Hidden One bureaus throughout the city, collect clues on his targets, and take them down with swift assassinations.

Do I need a Ubisoft Connect account to play the game?

• Yes, you will need a Ubisoft Connect account to play the game. If you don't already have one, you will be able to create your account on the first launch of the game. After linking your Steam and your Ubisoft Connect accounts, you won't need to log in to your Ubisoft Connect account anymore on the next game launch. Having a Ubisoft Connect account will let you keep your saves and progression on all platforms, and you will also earn extra rewards by completing additional challenges.
  

Do I need to download and install Ubisoft Connect separately?

• No, the Steam installation includes a lightweight version of Ubisoft Connect. No additional installation necessary.
  

Are Steam Achievements available in the game?

• Yes, the same achievements, as seen on other platforms and consoles, are available on Steam.
  

Am I able to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on my Steam Deck?

• Assassin’s Creed Mirage is playable on Steam Deck. While it is currently displayed in the “Unknown category”, the “Playable” Steam Deck label will be coming in the next few weeks through a new update.
  This next update will allow to launch the game on Steam Deck with low settings by default to best optimize the experience.
  Note that applying higher settings may impact the experience and lead to instability when playing on Steam Deck.

The game will be released worldwide on October 17th, at 10am PDT.

Will there be Achievements?

Yes, 50 achievements will be available for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. These will range from completing missions or ranking up, to performing specific actions. All details will be available on the AC Mirage Steam page.
