Hi everybody,

There's an incoming hotfix scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 8am PST / 15:00 UTC. Downtime for all platforms (PC, Xbox One, PS4) is expected to be about 3 hours.

Due to ongoing quarantine circumstances and folks stuck inside their hubs at home, after the hotfix we are increasing drop rates for certain items until April 7th!

Patch Notes:

• Increased drop rates of Mount Talismans and Dragon Fragments.
  
• Double the companion eggs drops in caves.
  
• (PC Only) Mods will no longer be able to enable players to create marketplace entries with negative costs.

Prepare to get dungeon diving as Lucky Dust 2020 has a chance to drop from all dungeon and lair chests during the event. Collected Lucky Dust can be used to craft new and improved St. Qubeslick Clover Seeds 2020, which can turn into strong, independent Lucky Clover plants that don’t need no water. Use Lucky Clovers to temporarily increase Magic Find by 50.

Lucky Dust can also be used to craft all new Lucky Stars! With a Lucky Star, the thrower and seven nearby players will temporarily turn green along with a sweet increase in Magic Find by 25. Time to go get gathering and go green!

Luxion’s wares are a way for players who missed limited-time items in the past to possibly pick them up again. You may also find brand new items at a higher Dragon Coin price periodically. Items can repeat eventually, but it may take a while for a specific piece of loot to return. Be sure to do the hourly challenges to earn Dragon Coins and check back on every visit!

Turn on your party block anthem for August, we’ve got some explosively exciting news for you! Throughout this month gedc and Mobi, two of Trove’s Community Managers, will light up the Hub and throw piñatas for the community to enjoy! For these piñata parties, we will be jumping back and forth between Bomber Royale and then partying in different Hubs on Trove.

We’ll announce in-game and on our social media channels when the party is getting started! Today we’ll kick things off and throw a party on PC! We plan to be dropping by a different platform each Friday (PC, PS4 EU, PS4 NA, and Xbox) this month. Keep your eyes out for other Trove devs throwing their own parties, too!

We are also excited to share more news about future developments and content coming up with an upcoming Producer’s Letter.

We are proud to announce that the Gardening 2.0 update is now in season, and that means that Gardening is bigger and better than ever. With new ways to craft, new plants to harvest, and new food to eat… It’s time to dig in!

We’ve turned Gardening up to 300, granting the rank of Horticulturist. There are also two new types of plants available: Vegetable Plants and Alchemy Plants. Alchemy Plants give you more of the resources you need, while Vegetable Plants give you vegetables to help you grow big and strong.

Eat your veggies! Wash your vegetables at the Vegetable Sink, then equip them in the Food slot to get a buff! This buff will go away over time, so make sure you keep the food coming.

How does your garden grow? All new Vegetable and Alchemy plants require watering and time before they can be harvested! Grab a Watering Can and get to sprinkling.

Reap all kinds of new rewards with Gardening:

• Bobble Pods are a fun new kind of pinata – throw them and watch them grow, then beat them up with some friends to get a shot at the Ridable Bobble Pod, a new immobile mount. Live out your best grocery store ride fantasies!
  
• Grow Ally Habitats together with your club – get the rare ally and watch the whole server tromp through your club!
  
• Kahramet, Warden of the Fields has also been attracted to Trove by the new growth – take flight on her flowery wings!
  
• New badges for Harvesting, Watering Plants, and Composting, each with their own rewards!
