The game that defined the survival-horror genre is back! Check out the remastered HD version of Resident Evil.

In 1998 a special forces team is sent to investigate some bizarre murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arriving they are attacked by a pack of blood-thirsty dogs and are forced to take cover in a nearby mansion. But the scent of death hangs heavy in the air. Supplies are scarce as they struggle to stay alive.

All aboard the hype train for Resident Evil! The enhanced version of the classic 2002 "REmake" officially hits digital outlets starting January 20. Beginning on that day, you'll be able to pick it up for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99 on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

While it's nice to finally know the price and release date, nothing speaks louder than gameplay footage. So to that end, take a peep at this lovely 60fps gameplay footage taken directly from the PC version of the game.
