While we work on our next Season coming June 11, 2020, we promised you that we would bring back some activities for you to enjoy in the meantime – and here they are!

Each week of May, we will bring back one special game mode and the rewards from one of last year’s events unlockable through all game modes*.

Starting on April 3rd, the Faction with the most Breach Takedowns will secure the best rewards. Whether you’re on the ramparts, going for the Guardian kill, or just escorting the Ram, make sure to get those Takedowns!

The Recognition Emote is on sale! You can, of course, use this Emote to recognize the skill of your opponent. You can also use this Emote after you have ledged them. The context does give it a rather different meaning, so please be careful.

[h2]For Honor Production Update[/h2]

A message to our community,

First and foremost, we hope that everyone is doing well and is safe at home during these times. On our side, the team is still hard at work to keep For Honor fully operational even though we are doing so from home.

We are proud of how quickly everyone on the For Honor development team has adapted to the situation. However, even with all our efforts during these times, this unprecedented event has slowed down our ability to effectively test our upcoming content. For this reason, we have taken the decision to delay the release of Year 4 Season 2 to June 11, 2020. This delay of 6 weeks gives us the time we need to adapt our testing pipelines to this new situation.

We know that this news is disappointing; we were all excited to be able to show you what was coming to For Honor for the upcoming season. However, we are confident this was the right decision for us to be able to launch the content as we intended.

On a positive note, the team is currently working on a plan to be able to bring back fan-favorite activities to compensate for this delay. Those activities will be available in May and we will soon share more details within our May roadmap.

We want to thank you for your continued passion and support. Stay safe everyone.

Hello Warriors! Today, we turn the page to the darker second chapter of the Blades of Persia event.

The Dark Prince has arrived on the battlefield. He’ll have all the Feats that you’ve come to expect from the Prince: the teleport punch, the power to slow time, and yes, the sand spears.

But there is good news. The Dark Prince drops the Dagger of Time upon being defeated.

All you have to do is pick the Dagger up, and all those powers are yours to use. But perhaps that’s easier said than done.



Until April 2nd, play the Wraith of Time playlist to fight the Dark Prince – as well as the opposing team – and take the Dagger of Time.



Limited-time, Prince of Persia-themed Mask Outfits are available for all heroes! Mark yourself as a servant of the mysterious Sandwraith – or a soldier in the army of the Djinn, Ratash.

• This tournament is 4v4 Dominion Gamemode on the maps Harbor, Temple Garden, and The Gauntlet.
  
• Registration is being held on Friday, March 20th, from 12pm to 12am UTC. There will be a channel opened during this time in which you can submit your teams registration.
  
• The tournament will begin in a Group Stage, Round Robin style. Then it will move to a Single Elimination bracket, doing BEST OF 3. Semi Finals will be BEST OF 5 and Finals will be BEST OF 7. Good luck to all!

This week is all about the Testing Grounds. We’ll be testing changes that aim to improve offense and consistency until March 12th!

You can find a summary of the Fight System Improvements here.
And a technical explanation of the attack display changes here.

As you can see, these changes cover a lot of ground – so your feedback will be crucial for us. The Testing Grounds is a playlist that’s part of the main game (no separate download necessary) and is available on all platforms.



Everyone’s feedback is welcome! You have two weeks to try out these fundamental fight changes. Feel free to post your thoughts in the Reddit mega-thread or on the forums.
