Our new DLC is coming soon!

We were worried that we would have to delay it a bit, but thankfully, it's looking like we managed to make the release window. There's still a bit of polish and testing that needs to be done from here to launch, but we hope you guys are eager for more milk!

IRL, we're about to go through a huge move, so we'll be struggling a bit to settle in to a new place for a bit. Because of this, we're trying to make sure there aren't any bugs and that the launch goes smoothly, since we won't know how soon we can patch it after.

The moment many of you have been waiting for is drawing closer! We now have a tentative release date for Milking Cerise! If everything goes well, the DLC will be releasing on March 21st. This includes a bit of padding time for localization and testing, so if things go faster than expected, we may be able to move the date closer. We are soon going to be in the middle of a big move IRL but are trying our best to get this DLC released before that.

Now, let’s talk about what’s coming in this update!

[h3]THE NEW HUCOW - CERISE[/h3]

First things first, the star of this update is the new hucow, Cerise. Cerise has a timid personality but deep down, she’s a bit of a bondage freak and represses her kinks.

One of the new features in this update are the intro cutscenes that will appear when players start a milking session.


These are catered to the character's fetishes, so Cerise will be delivered to your barn in a kinky cage. You'll have to wait to see Mira's!

We’re still deciding if we’ll have her automatically unlocked as soon as you start the game, or if players have to play through a bit of Mira before unlocking her.

[h3]MECHANIC CHANGES[/h3]

A core mechanic in the game has been adjusted to allow players more freedom over how their hucows develop. Upon ranking up, you will now earn a stat point that can be assigned in whichever stat you wish. Fixed stat gains have been exchanged for player choice.

PITY SYSTEM
A pity system has been implemented! If you are struggling to get an item from the RNG rank up pull, you will now be able to unlock it with gold instead. Gold is earned automatically every time you fill a bottle of milk, but some items like Mira's golden set will now affect the rate at which gold is collected.

These are the major changes worth talking about for now without making this post too long.

[h3]NEW ITEMS[/h3]
There are a handful of new items coming in this update as well. Here is the confirmed list, with only one or two that aren’t mentioned here since they may end up getting cut.

The time for more milk is on the horizon! Many of you have been eagerly waiting for some info about the upcoming DLC for Milking Mira and we thank you for your patience! Now it’s time to pull the covers off of what we’ve been working on!


Milking Cerise is going to be a free expansion to Milking Mira and will feature a new character, as well as some mechanic changes and quality-of-life improvements to the game. We’re currently working on the DLC and expect to have it ready for release in between December and February. Ultimately it depends on how hectic things get with the holidays and any bumps we run into with some of the new mechanics.

[h2]Cerise, the Kinky Witch![/h2]



A new hucow has arrived at your farm!

Cerise is another one of our characters from the Project Cappuccino series and probably the second most popular girl after Mira. She comes from a family of witches and is capable of using magic to animate objects. (Usually her stockings or everyday things.)

Cerise is known for her timid personality, beneath which she hides a fascination with BDSM. I’m sure our farmers will help her explore her repressed kinks, right?

[h2]Upcoming Content[/h2]
Here’s what you guys can expect in this update.

• New Character (Cerise)
• Unique Intro Cutscenes for Each Character: We’re creating special cutscenes catered around the character’s fetishes that will play when entering the milking pen with them.
  
• New Items: Various new items are being added, including a new Nipple category for piercings. Some new items relate to the bondage and witch themes that Cerise is bringing and they will be backward compatible with Mira too.
  
• Insemination Cam: The pregnancy item will now have a small animation to go with it instead of the screen fade to instant pregnancy.
  
• Gameplay Adjustments: We’d like to adjust the heavy RNG reliance that the game has and allow players a little more control over what stats their hucows gain on rank up. More detail on these changes will be available when we’re done testing out if they’re good in the first place.
  
• Missing Legs Fix: Mira’s legs weren’t there in the original scene and are being added along with a camera option to look at them. Cerise will have them too.
  

That’s all we’ve got for now! We’ll be making another announcement when we have info on a more accurate release date. Since this DLC will be free, simply having a copy of Milking Mira will grant you this update when it rolls out.

We’re a little late with this thank you post due to some hectic life events, but we made a wallpaper to celebrate the staggering success that this project was!

Interest in Milking Mira has blown our expectations out of the water and we’re eager to see what the future holds. We can’t thank you guys enough for the support you’ve shown us. This means that we get to keep making hentai games and will be bringing another hucow into the milking pen…

Hey guys, we've got a small balance patch ready to go for this game that includes a few bug fixes and quality of life changes.

Please note that this is not the content update mentioned in other posts but it should hopefully make the game a bit smoother for players in the mean time. We'll be sure to let you guys know as soon as we have info on the new character and items.

[h3]New Content[/h3]

• Added option to link breast size to overall capacity instead of current fullness: Max effective capacity is 800. Anything after that will no longer increase the breast size but will still continue to function for milk collection. The reason for this is that absurdly large breasts start to mess with the game’s visuals. Along with this, the maximum visual size for breasts when using the Mega Milkers has been slightly increased. This is as big as we can make them for Mira but a future character is probably going to be even larger. Toggling this option can be done through the settings menu under the gameplay tab.
  

[h3]Polish[/h3]

• Rebalanced Various Items: The Golden Set has had its values distributed more evenly between its different parts. Prior to this update, each clothing piece was mostly focused on one stat. By more evenly distributing their bonuses, players can benefit from a single piece as soon as it’s acquired instead of needing multiple ones. Some toys like the Ball Gag and Heavy Chains now have stat bonuses linked to them.
  
• Adjusted drop rate for some items that had it too low
• Added resizable window and locked aspect ratio to 16:9 Unity gave us some trouble by suddenly removing the option of enforcing aspect ratios. Had to use a workaround to get the windowed mode working properly. Toggling windowed mode can be done with Alt+Enter but we will later try to add a settings menu toggle.
  
• Adjusted Milk Man Achievement: The achievement is now granted as soon as you find all of the hidden gnomes. Previously, it required finding the gnomes and cycling through the camera but this was too obscure. (The easter egg is still there.)
  
• Added Achievement Redundancy Check: This is mostly to account for players bringing saves over from other platforms like itch io. Some achievements were only triggered once when a milestone was reached and if a player loaded an existing save, that achievement would remain locked. In order to get your achievements to trigger with an existing save, simply load into the milking scene with Mira. Some achievements like outfit combinations will require re-equipping the items or re-using something specific. Please let us know if you are still having achievement problems after this update.
  
• Added no branding button to Steam version for the achievement: Some players didn’t want to brand their hucow but still wanted to 100% the game. You can now push a button in the settings to trigger the achievement without permanently branding Mira.
  

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]

• Fixed Text Wrapping on Stat ToolTip: English users had the word “Production” breaking the display.
  
• Fixed Stat Bug Related to Tool Items: Some tool items weren’t working properly. Pregnancy would apply stat bonuses when used but they would be reset if the player removed other equipment. Thigh Strapped Vibrator was not affecting stats at all.
  

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]

• There is a bug sometimes when activating Golden Mode that soft locks the game on the white transition screen: This was reported by one player but I have been unable to replicate it during testing. I made an adjustment that I think may have been causing the problem but don’t want to call it fixed just yet. Please let us know if you run into this issue with any details that may have caused it. Exiting to the main menu fixes the problem as a workaround.
  
• Thermostat sometimes causes sweat to remain on boobs and pregnant belly: Also have been having problems replicating this one.
  
• Some languages do not display the new stat bonuses in the item descriptions yet: Localization will be updated in the content update later this year. This only applies to DE, FR and JP. EN and ES are updated.
  

[h3]Additional Notes[/h3]

• We experimented with adding a gold currency that is collected along with every completed milk bottle, but making a feature like this intuitive will require a bit more time. We’ve left the current system in place but will properly revisit this idea while working on the content update. We’re just not happy with the current RNG roll mechanic being the only way to obtain items.
  
• We are open to requests for future items or mechanics that players may want to see. We cannot guarantee everything but we'll do our best to include popular requests.
