Infinite Scuba News

Infinite Scuba is at the United Nations this week!

Hi Ocean Fans! We are honored and super excited to be in NYC at the UN Ocean Conference this week! Delegates to this conference came from all over the world to share their ocean knowledge, dreams, and best practices for ocean conservation. The response to the #VR dive with Sylvia Earle and the conventional game has been fantastic! Supporting Dr. Earle's mission to save the oceans is a huge part of why we built the game in the first place - this is why we donate $1 of each purchase to Mission Blue and do so much school outreach. Being surrounded by passionate ocean environmentalists absolutely restores your faith in humanity. :)

Please check out our FB page (CascadeGameFoundry) or Twitter streams (@cascadegf, @infinitescuba) to see some photos/posts from our crazy beautiful week.

When we get back to Seattle, our next goals are the release of the VR dive and an update to the conventional game, both of which we have been testing on-site.

Thank you for hanging in there with our pokey development pace - slow and steady, like the honu we are.

Infinite Scuba at EarthGames on Tap tomorrow!

Hi Ocean Fans! We were invited to show the game this Thursday (18 May 2017) at EarthGames on Tap, an evening of fun and inspiration hosted by the UW Center for Creative Conservation. They are bringing together researchers and game developers to spark collaborations on new games for change – specifically, video games that are good for people and the planet. You can learn how to 'gamify' research, and meet others working in the environmental, education, and social change realms. Mingle and brainstorm over locally-sourced beer, pizza, and popcorn–and try your hand at a curated selection of new 'earthgames'!

More info on the event is here: https://earthgames.org/evening/

Registration ($12 online, $18 at the door) is here: https://events.uw.edu/c/express/9546e5bd-5c55-4563-b8e5-7a21388a90a6
