Welcome to our seventh devlog for The Enigma Cases! We’re excited to share some major updates and progress we’ve made on the game.

First off The Enigma Cases has officially surpassed 70,000 wishlists on Steam! 🎉

As indie developers, we can't thank you enough. Your support through wishlists, comments, and feedback continues to inspire and guide us every step of the way.



We're currently aiming to release The Enigma Cases in Q3 2025. Before the early access, we plan to launch a free prologue that will give players a first glimpse into the world, mechanics, and atmosphere of the game. Your feedback on the prologue will be instrumental in helping us polish and finalize the main game.



Another exciting part of development: we’re actively working on CO-OP functionality for The Enigma Cases.

We believe that solving mysteries together can add a whole new layer of immersion and enjoyment to the experience. we’re now expanding this to support up to 4 players. This will open the door for richer teamwork, new strategic dynamics, and shared discoveries

[h2]Investigation Board System 🗂️[/h2]

The Investigation Board has been refined to give players full freedom over how they organize their case.



[h2]Clue Combination System 🧩 [/h2]

We’ve made the Clue Combination System smoother, faster, and more intuitive especially for
co-op play. Players can now easily drag, drop, and test combinations without clunky UI interruptions or waiting on others.



[h2]Vehicle System 🚗 [/h2]

As the scale of our open world grows, so does the need for meaningful traversal and that’s where the Vehicle System comes in.

In The Enigma Cases, players will be able to hop into their police vehicle and drive across the city to investigate new locations, respond to leads, or follow suspects.





Based on community input and our evolving creative vision, we’ve made a major shift in our development focus:

We’ve decided to expand the open world design and enhance the depth of the narrative.

We want The Enigma Cases to offer a compelling and immersive experience for players who love story-rich detective games with mystery, atmosphere, and meaningful exploration. Expect a more dynamic world, layered storytelling, and deeper character interactions that enrich the investigative experience.

This direction allows us to create a living, breathing mystery one that reacts to your curiosity and rewards your attention to detail.

We have received feedback regarding the Chinese translation, and we acknowledge that the quality was not up to standard. A professional translator is now reviewing and updating it. Once the revised translation is ready, we will integrate it into the game.

Additionally, we are aware of the optimization issues in the game. Our team has identified the problems and has already started fixing them to improve overall performance.

Question: Can players from different regions join the same lobby?
Answer: No. Players from different regions cannot join the same lobby. Please check your region settings before starting a game.

Question: What happens if a player disconnects or leaves the game?
Answer: All progress will be lost. If any player disconnects or quits, the game will end, and everyone will be returned to the main menu.

Question: How many players can play the demo?
Answer: The demo will support 2 players.

Question: How many players are planned for the full version?
Answer: We plan to expand the game to support up to 4 players.
