Thanks for the support and reviews guys! Definitely enjoy the process of development a lot more when I hear your feedback!

I wanted to get the second final boss in this week but I think it's going to be a bigger project than I initially thought so it'll be coming next week. I've heard the feedback about making the game harder but I think I'm going to use the final boss progression system to increase the difficulty of the game. When you defeat the first final boss(Rank #5) the opponents you face in the run after that will be slightly harder than they used to be. I think this is a good way to increase the game's difficulty while also not making it *too* difficult for new players. I think it'll also be super cool if opponents kinda progress when you defeat the first final boss too, having different dialog and maybe different Sculplings on their team?! So yeah all that is a little more work than just adding another final boss but I think the extra week will make the experience much cooler :)

Quick Patch for v0.1.8

  • Fixed broken 'Chill Monke' Sculpling


SO sorry about that guys!

Only going to have small patches this week(any major bugs that appear and maybe a patch adding sfx in a few days)

Lee and I are both moving this week so our personal stuff is slowing us down a bit.

BUT NEXT WEEK:

Update v0.1.8

Major Changes:

  • New Map Music Exclusive to each zone!
  • Show item info when hover on battle reward items
  • Fix crash when evolve Banana King
  • Now have the option to NOT teach a new move at the evolution screen
  • Fix 'Golden Revive' item not working

Update v0.1.7! New Sculpling | Items after battle

Major Changes:
  • New ANIMAL Sculpling added to the ICELANDS
  • You now get small items after defeating/capturing a wild Sculpling
  • More streamlined Move Change Screen
  • Major Saving/Loading bugs fixed.


Another update fixing some reported bugs will be coming in a couple days.

Next Week:
- Bug Fixes
- Better Map design and new Map Music for each zone!

We're working hard on EVENT SPACES, which is kinda the final design addition that still needs to be added to the game(after that it's just adding content). So that will be our focus the next couple weeks but we will still work on bugs along side!
