In today’s devlog, we’re taking a look above our guests' heads - literally!
We’re introducing dynamic indicators above NPCs to help you better manage orders, guest moods, and the overall café flow.

Here’s what’s new! 👇

💬 What Do They Want?
No more guessing - the indicator above an NPC’s head clearly shows what they’re looking for:

• 🧁 Product icons: Coffee, tea, pastries - you’ll see from a distance exactly what each guest wants.
  
• 💡 Recommendations: If a guest doesn’t know what to order, a speech bubble with “What do you recommend today?” will pop up - your chance to impress with something special!
  

😠 Mood Levels – New Emotion System
Guests are waiting… but for how long?

• 😐 Green indicator: All good - the guest is feeling fine.
  
• 😟 Yellow indicator: Uh-oh, waiting a bit too long…
  
• 😡 Red indicator: Warning! The guest is getting frustrated - ignore them too long and they might storm out!
  Each emotion level updates in real time with animated transitions, so you can act fast and keep the vibe friendly.
  

📱 Guest Comments in Speech Bubbles
Some characters have a little more to say:

• 💬 Thoughtful quotes: “It smells amazing in here!” / “Just a quick stop - please be fast!” / “This is my favorite café!”
  
• These little moments help bring your guests to life and add flavor to your café’s atmosphere.
  
• Some guests won’t just order what’s on the menu - they might wish for something special they’ve seen elsewhere.
  “Do you happen to have matcha latte today?”
  If you don’t… maybe it’s time to rush and unlock that new license! 🙂
  

With these new indicators, gameplay becomes more intuitive and engaging - you’ll always know who needs what, and how they’re feeling.

☀️ Meetups and Conversations at the Café

Your guests love spending time in the cozy atmosphere of your café, both indoors and outdoors!
Outdoor Tables: When the weather is nice, NPCs will sit at the outdoor tables, enjoying the fresh air and having conversations.
Comfy Indoor Sofas: Inside the café, guests will relax on the sofas, chatting with each other.



☕ Personal Orders and Returning Customers

Every guest interaction is unique!

• "What do you recommend today?": Some NPCs will ask you for a recommendation of the day with a speech bubble as they enter. Prepare something special for them!
  
• "Hey, it's me again! That latte was delicious, I'll have another one!": Returning guests will remember your best drinks and will happily order them again.
  
• "I had to bring the crew! We'll take 3 espressos and 2 lattes, I've been telling them all about it!": Sometimes your regulars will bring their friends along, ready to try your specialties.
