Welcome to the January Shadowletter!
2025 has started with great energy, and we're ready to share an important announcement that we can't wait to celebrate with you! The second episode of Scary Shadow Spot - Bitter Glass will launch on Steam on January 31st. We're incredibly excited about this release and hope you are too!

[h3]One Week to Launch![/h3]
The tension is building, and so is our eagerness to show you everything we’ve prepared for this chapter. Bitter Glass is bigger, richer, and even more immersive. Unlike the first episode, we’ve brought back collectibles, a fan-favorite feature from our studio.

This time, we’ve added something special: collectible "Wanted" western posters. We’ve partnered with famous streamers and YouTubers who will appear in the game as collectible posters. Additionally, through our Instagram contest (@doesntmatterpod), we selected 20 random participants who will also be immortalized in the world of Bitter Glass. A true celebration of our community!



[h3]The Commercial Break Returns![/h3]
Just like in the first episode, Bitter Glass will feature a commercial break. Those who played Last Farewell might remember the simulated 1950s cigarette ad that interrupted a climactic moment in the story. Since Scary Shadow Spot is inspired by The Twilight Zone, we want to preserve the TV series format with all its iconic elements. This time, the commercial break will be even more surprising and memorable.

And remember: in the meta-universe of Scary Shadow Spot, some characters from the first chapter may return in future episodes in different roles. Just like in a TV series, characters are like "actors" playing different roles in each episode.



[h3]A Look Ahead: Scary Shadow Spot - All In[/h3]
We can’t help but give you a little teaser about the future of the series. Work on the third chapter, titled Scary Shadow Spot - All In, has already begun! The protagonist will be Lisa, a woman who must face a mysterious poker game with fate. What happens during this game will be as emotional as it is unsettling. But we’ll talk more about that later...

[h2]What’s new in the 1.3.5 Update?[/h2]
Key improvements for a smoother experience:

• Optimized door interactions: If you don’t have the correct key, the inventory will no longer open automatically. Explore without interruptions!
  
• Improved Deer Woman AI: Her artificial intelligence has been further refined, and an annoying bug causing her to enter furniture while you were hiding has been fixed. Escaping her will now be even more chilling and realistic.
  
• More intuitive inventory: A notification has been added to alert you when your inventory is full.
