Arms of God has joined the ultimate celebration of Bullet Heaven and survivor-like games!

To celebrate the Bullet Heaven Festival, Arms of God will be presenting a special alpha demo that lets you feel the vibe of the game and experience a glimpse of the full gameplay.

Note: A proper, full demo is planned for release in April 2025. Please keep in mind that this is an alpha version of the game!

During these playtests, you’ll be playing the alpha demo. It features the first level of the game—10 full waves, ending with a boss fight. Throughout the game, you’ll encounter 10 unique enemies, each with their own nefarious way of attacking you. You’ll also have access to the shop, where you can upgrade weapons and combine them with upgrades. Plus, there's an option to combine one weapon with another!

• Game localized into Polish and Chinese.
  

[h3]Extensive UI Updates:[/h3]

• Icon colors now change based on their type.
  
• Updated highlighting for selections.
  
• Adjusted button positions.
  
• Improved item combination visuals, clearly showing what is being combined.
  
• Enhanced navigation for both gamepad and keyboard.
  
• Numerous minor visual tweaks and adjustments.

• Improved character responsiveness: faster acceleration, quicker dodges, and increased dodge range.
  
• Enhanced boss animations with additional effects and scale adjustments – the boss is now much larger!
  
• Better visibility of enemy projectiles.

• Added animations to the main game menu.
  
• New character and weapon selection screen.
  
• Added gamepad/keyboard icons for actions – the game now automatically switches inputs based on the device in use.
  
• Updated weapon effects, introducing a new type of damage: Holy Damage!
  

[h3]New Weapon Categories:[/h3]

• Grenade Launcher – Fires explosive projectiles that arc into the center of enemy hordes.
  
• Mine Launcher – Deploys mines that home in on the nearest enemies and explode on contact.
  
• Heavenly Wrath – A projectile that instantly falls from the sky.
  
• Laser Weapon – Slices through all enemies in its path in a fraction of a second.

• Melee weapons now generate additional shockwaves when upgrading the number of projectiles.

• Added a game tutorial.
  
• Rebalanced and adjusted specific upgrades.
  
• New weapon firing sound effects.
  
• Numerous small fixes and quality-of-life improvements to enhance gameplay.
  

[h3]After the first few days of testing, the demo has been updated with the following fixes:[/h3]

• Localization issues fixed
  
• ESC button now correctly exits the shop
  
• "Try again" option has been disabled
  
• You can no longer continue the game after completing wave 10 or dying
