Tag-Up Update: When hitting a popup players can now turn their runners around any time before the ball lands. It used to be if you hit a popup with a runner on first, you couldn't turn your runner around before it was caught, and you'd be easy pickings for an unfair double play. but with this new build, you can turn around any time before the ball lands

Lace up those cleats, put your game face on, and get ready to draft your team from the 30 iconic Backyard Sports characters as well as a collection of legendary pros including Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, John Elway, Dan Marino, Randall Cunningham, Drew Bledsoe and Steve Young. Earn power-ups by completing passes on offense and sacking the opposing QB on defense: [/p][p][/p][p]Offensive Power-Ups [/p]

• [p]Hocus Pocus – A pass play which results in a receiver teleporting down field.[/p]
• [p]Sonic Boom – A run play which causes an earthquake to knock over the opposing team.[/p]
• [p]Leap Frog – A run play which causes your running back to leap down field.[/p]
• [p]Super Punt – A very powerful punt![/p]

• [p]Cough Drop – A play that causes the opponent to fumble when tackled.[/p]
• [p]Chameleon – A trick play that results in your team wearing the other team's colors for ultimate confusion.[/p]
• [p]Spring Loaded – A play that causes your player to leap over the line of scrimmage to sack the QB.[/p]

Patch 1.0.8 has arrived and is jam packed with improvements we've made since launch.
Here's the breakdown of all the improvements to the game:

• [p]Fixed the Out of Array pointers crash[/p]
• [p]Fixed instances of stats corruption after playing multiple games[/p]
• [p]Fixed the crash that occurs when relaunching a save in the middle of an extra inning[/p]
• [p]Fixed the issue where options are not being retained in the sound settings when relaunching the game[/p]

[h3]Fixed Visual Bugs[/h3]

• [p]Fixed a UI visual glitch in batting practice that occurs on the third strike.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a visual bug in the Hall of Fame screen that's displaying the incorrect team color.[/p]
• [p]Fixed the visual bug in the statistics page that was showing unreliable data.[/p]
• [p]Realigned the #5 to other characters used when creating a new coach.[/p]
• [p]Fixed the visual bug where the field that’s being selected in batting practice isn’t consistent with the one being presented in-game.[/p]

• [p]Adjusted the background sound to restart in the appropriate screens[/p]
