Weekend Events: Ships permits and St. Kitts, March 8th-11th

Captains,

Two loot events will run from daily maintenance on March 8th until daily maintenance on March 11th:

[h3]St. Kitts Event[/h3]
  • St. Kitts 5 modules are available in the Admiralty, they can be exchanged for Broad Pennants that occasionally drop from 5th rates and higher
  • Broad pennant will drop from military NPC ships

[h3]Drop amount for ships permits will be doubled until daily maintenance on March 11th[/h3]

Quest Master and Ship Builder Seasons Update

Captains,

Quest Master and Ship Builder Seasons were updated today, March 6th.

[h3]Ship Builder Season:[/h3]
  • The score is now based on the price and quality of crafted ships.
  • For example, ships built from common wood (e.g., Fir or Oak) will contribute less to tier progression than ships built from seasoned or rare woods.
  • Tiers, rewards, and leaderboard rewards have been adjusted to make the experience more accessible and enjoyable for players.


[h3]Quest Master Season:[/h3]
  • The number of ships required to complete the Search and Destroy and Hunt missions has been adjusted (generally lowered).
  • Tiers, rewards, and leaderboard rewards have been adjusted to make the experience more accessible and enjoyable for players.

Weekend Event: Diana, February 23rd-26th

Captains,

Diana loot event will run from daily maintenance on February 23rd until daily maintenance on February 26th:

[h3]Diana Event[/h3]
Captains have to find rare ships like Diana, Santa Cecilia and Admiraal de Ruyter in the search areas provided below. These ships may carry a very rare ship notes and special loot coins, rare wood and rare guns:
  • Gold Ducat
  • Gold Rouble
  • Gold Sultani
  • Gold Thaler
  • Strange Gold Bar
  • Rare wood
  • Rare guns

Coins might be exchanged in the Academy building to receive:
  • Additional outpost permit
  • Additional dock permit
  • Diana permit
  • Admiraal de Ruyter permit

If you already have the Navy Connection using the item will add even more outposts or docks (up to a total limit).

Search locations
  • South Antilles - triangle of Aves, La Blanquilla and Saint George ports
  • Northeast of Tumbado - area between Cuba and Tumbado
  • South of Hispaniola

In case of capture of certain ports in the area, the nation of ships will change.

Patch Update: War on Grind and combat improvements

Captains.

Patch has been deployed today.

  • War on Grind: XP thresholds and amount of kills per level has been drastically reduced. More information and spreadsheet links is in news and announcement section in Official Discord.
  • HP, Mast and Sail damage improvements and tweaks. More information and spreadsheet links is in news and announcements section in Official Discord.
  • NPC Changes - low level NPCs no longer use Accuracy mods.
  • Chain damage is now 1 hp for all calibers to provide visibility and full clarity on mast and sail damage.
  • Wood changes. HP buffs for woods slightly reduced.
  • Invisibility timer after battle: Players will get 30 second invisibility after battle to allow loading into open world for all types of computers. If player moves invisibility timer will stop. Players will also now longer be able to attack or be attacked 15 seconds after battle.
  • Trading improvements: NPC traders will now bring small amount of trading goods for sale into Central and South America.
