Weekend Events: Ships permits, Where is my shipment and Martinique, Jan 12-15

Captains,

Three loot events will run from daily maintenance on January 12th until daily maintenance on January 15th:

All traders carry increased numbers of crafting resources and rare woods

[h3]Martinique Event[/h3]

Martinique 5 modules are available in the Admiralty, they can be exchanged for Broad Pennants that occasionally drop from 5th rates and higher
Broad pennant will drop from military NPC ships

[h3]Drop chance for ships permits will be doubled until daily maintenance on January 15th[/h3]

Fix for The 2024 Holiday Event Book Issue is deployed - December 28th

Captains,

A fix for the issue with unusable books obtained from The 2024 Holiday Event has been deployed today.

The incorrect books have been converted into usable ones.

Captains who retained the incorrect books in their Upgrade Chests have been compensated (instead of converting) with the correct books, which are now available in the redeemables box.

Upcoming Fix for The 2024 Holiday Event Book Issue Scheduled for December 28th

Captains,

The issue with the books obtained from The 2024 Holiday Event will be fixed during the daily maintenance time on Thursday, December 28th.

After this maintenance, you should be able to use the books as intended.

2024 Holiday Event Clarification Update: Details on Ships Locations

Captains,

We have seen comments that many players are getting ganked around La Mona when farming the event.

You can get rare loot from 4th rates. These ships can be found in Safe Zones around following locations:

Upper Antilles
South America
Atlantic Coast
East Cuba
Central America
Gulf
Lower Antilles
Yucatan

In addition to that all line ships in Open World (3rd-1st rates) carry rare guns and modules even if they sail to safe zones.

2024 Holiday Celebrations: Rare Loot, Privateer Fleets, and Enhanced Trade!

[h3]The 2024 Holiday Event[/h3]

The Holiday event will begin on Friday, December 22nd, after the daily maintenance time and will conclude on January 8th, following the daily maintenance.

During the event, all NPC war ships of 1st to 4th ranks in the Open World may carry additional rare loot such as rare guns and modules.

Furthermore, special fleets of privateers will be sailing around the Mona Passage (the passage between Hispaniola and Puerto Rico islands) and nearby areas. Privateer ships will carry additional rare loot and cannons.

Finally, all traders will carry increased numbers of crafting resources and rare woods.
