We are happy to announce that the Test Server is now available.



[h3]To test the new complete overhaul for the game including:[/h3]

• Damage Model: Overhauled ammunition, HP, leaks, fires, thickness, boarding, and various other adjustments.
  
• Sailing Model: Streamlined speed profiles for all ships, rudder inertia, and other tuning improvements.
  
• Crafting: full overhaul of the crafting progression.
  
• Trading: Trade routes are back in full force providing stable trade routes and distance based pricing
  
• Player-Driven Economy and Hauling: Crafted goods required for combat and trading provide even better money making opportunities than trading. All higher level items have to be crafted by players.
  
• New Modules and Books: Complete overhaul of modules and books
  
• Dozens of other changes and improvements giving almost a new fresh experience.
  

This weekend we are testing NEW PLAYER AND BAHAMAS EXPERIENCE, so every player will start from scratch with zero XP and money in Nassau. But don't worry - we will run a higher rank test early next week.

War server closed on the 25th of February 2025. XP data will be merged into the Caribbean server.

• War server will close down tomorrow on the 25th February 2025 for the preparation of the test server, and XP data will merge into Caribbean.
  
• XP on War server will be saved for Steam ID and will be granted on new character creation after patch and reset.
  
• After patch and final reset there will be no more resets as seasonal resets model was not a good idea for the game.
  
• We would like to thank all captains for patience and support during last hard 2 years.

We are working to prepare a test server for this week. Test server will replace War Server which will shut down.

The main reason for the delay this week is the attempt to find how we can save Clan Tags due to full user base wipe (we could not keep it). But we now can.

Clan Tags will be saved for the Caribbean server.
Clan owners can reserve the clan tag here by posting their clan tag in the special topic on the forum.
It will automatically tie the clan tag to the current clan owner and only he will be able to use it for some time after the big patch and server reset.

Important information on the Captain Battle XP and wipe.
Only Battle XP will remain after the reset. Everything else will be reset and wiped.

• Current Captain battle XP points are tied to their Steam ID and server.
  
• War server XP will be migrated to Caribbean server, and highest number will be used. If Captain had higher XP on War server - War server xp will be used. If he had higher XP on Caribbean - Caribbean level will be used.
  
• Peace server XP will remain on Peace server.

We are re-starting the player selection of ships which brough us amazing vessels like Christian, Redoutable, Rattlesnake, and Indefatigable in the past.
