Potential fixes of the port battle instance crashes will be deployed on Friday, March 5th, after daily maintenance time, 11:00 UTC.

Five battles that have been RESCHEDULED 2 times due to peace declarations will finally HAPPEN! before official opening of war - to check the fix on smaller scale:

• Campeche - March 6th, 18:25 UTC time; NPC raiders vs BORK (Sweden)
  
• Aguadilla - March 6th, 21:05 UTC time; [BSTD] (Denmark-Norway) vs [WTF] (Pirates)
  
• Cano Macareo - March 6th, 21:41 UTC time; [NFH] (Commonwealth of Poland) vs [PRIV] (The Netherlands)
  
• Sancti Spiritus - March 7th, 04:31 UTC time; [HAVOC] (Kingdom of Prussia) vs [SOTS] (Spain)
  
• La Bahia - March 7th, 06:34 UTC time; NPC raiders vs [IX] (Kingdom of Prussia)

Conquest activities will resume on March 7th, after daily maintenance time, 11:00 UTC. First port battles will happen on March 8th.

All other compensations for previous crashes will be awarded by Monday, March 8th. Special loot event will also stop by then.

Server infrastructure upgrade will start next week as well, but servers were found to be not the cause of the problems.

P.S.: Clans BORK, [BSTD], [WTF], [NFH], [PRIV], [HAVOC], [SOTS], [IX] participating in those 5 mentioned above port battles are requested to try to fill the battles full with players. The side that will bring 25 players to these port battles on weekend will receive a 5/5 top port bonus Ocean and a set of rare guns for the troubles and 2 times rescheduling of those battles; In addition to that if the fix does not work properly and port battles will still crash the reward will be doubled.

All other clans and players should not worry - they will get a chance to get the same reward in the stress test next week. We will announce more on it on Sunday.

Dear Captains,

We will extend the loot event until 8th March.

Update on the port battle state.
We have partially identified the issues with port battles and were able to replicate some of them. The main causes of the port battles issues were caused by simultaneous update of battle, quest, port and other statistics. Such problems could increase during active after "battle over" mass looting by multiple players (especially from higher ping countries). We know which areas to fix to solve the issue.

We are now doing the following:

• We plan to rework statistics: clear some of it and improve methods of recording for other types - will be done this week.
  
• We plan to upgrade infrastructure to much better quality servers (will be done within 1-2 weeks).
  
• We plan to redesign long distance looting at least in port battles - if things above do not help.

All port battles will have to be rescheduled by another 7 days.

Compensations will be delayed to early next week.

A new loot event will run from daily maintenance on February of 21st until daily maintenance on March of 1st. Captains have to find rare ships like Diana, Santa Cecilia and Admiraal de Ruyter in the search areas provided below. These ships may carry a very rare ship notes and special loot coins, rare wood and rare guns:

• Gold Ducat
  
• Gold Rouble
  
• Gold Sultani
  
• Gold Thaler
  
• Strange Gold Bar
  
• Rare wood
  
• Rare guns

Coins might be exchanged in the Academy building to receive:

• Additional outpost permit
  
• Additional dock permit
  
• Diana permit
  
• Admiraal de Ruyter permit

If you already have the Navy Connection using the item will add even more outposts or docks (up to a total limit).

• South Antilles - French and Dutch ships

In case of capture of certain ports in the area, the nation of ships will change.

Captains,

First we would like to apologize on behalf of Game Labs and Naval Action team for the issues with port battles.

We have found new crash cases and working on a fix this weekend and will not return port battles until the system is working properly. There are several reasons for the crashes mainly caused by long distance looting, repairs and hold access at the end of port battles on mass exit of battles. We want to rework and improve the system for the future.

To prevent further frustration caused by crashes all conquest activity on the War server will be stopped for 7 days after today's maintenance, all planned port battles are rescheduled for 7 days. We will launch a 7 day loot event (adding additional items for holds of enemies). We will post a separate announcement on this later today.

We understand that RVR is a key part of the game and know you are all upset and want to fix it completely before the deployment of the improved trading, travel balloons, and improved cannon crafting updates (2 next big updates)

General compensation for inconveniences during past days will be given in the beginning of next week to all players. Additional worthwhile compensation will be provided to affected clans losing time in port battles.

Conquest truce is prolonged until the daily maintenance on Thursday, 18th of February, 10:00 UTC time.

All port battles set up for today have been cancelled. All flags used to plant port battles will be compensated via redeemable box.
