Car Dealer Simulator: Prologue - Early Days News

In today’s devlog, we’re revealing the next stages of upgrades in your dealership!

In the prologue, you had a chance to see the car wash upgrade to level 2, and in the demo - a sneak peek at what the upgraded body shop has to offer. But before you reach those higher levels... there’s a bit of cleaning up to do after Little Sam’s lovely mess 😄







The first office upgrade not only clears up your surroundings, but also unlocks access to the storage area located behind the garage. This storage will act as an extension of your inventory, making it easier to manage your parts and items.



And that’s just the beginning! We’ll be sharing more details about upcoming changes and new features in future devlogs.

In today’s devlog, we’ve got a few updates related to the tow truck and some recent changes made in the demo version.

At the moment, the only way to load a car onto the tow truck in Car Dealer Simulator is by using Parking Mode and pulling the vehicle up with the winch.



Previously, if the parking sensor detected an obstacle and the ramp area turned red - it was impossible to extend the ramps.

In one of the latest demo patches, we added visual feedback: now, the ramps will gently "bounce" if something is blocking them.



Similarly, when you're trying to pull a car onto the truck but something's in the way - like uneven terrain - the vehicle will bounce off the ramps, letting you know it’s a good idea to reposition the tow truck slightly and try again.



It’s a small touch, but it makes using the tow truck feel more natural and intuitive.

Welcome to another devlog! Today we want to share with you a new feature that was added to the game demo in one of the recent updates - the radio! 🎶 You can already try it out in the demo, and it will also be available in the full version of the game.

You can now make your time at the dealership or workshop more enjoyable by listening to your favorite radio stations.



📻 You’ll find the radio in the back office, in the player’s room - it’s sitting on the table. Simply walk up to it and press the ‘E’ interaction button to pick it up. You can carry the radio anywhere you like - for example, into the workshop to make working on cars even more fun.



🎧 While holding the radio, press and hold ‘R’ to open the familiar radio station wheel menu - just like in the car. And that’s not all! When the wheel menu is open, you can use the mouse scroll to adjust the volume.



It’s a small addition, but we believe it adds some nice atmosphere and good vibes to your in-game workdays! 🚗

On May 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM CEST, the full game will be available on Steam!

But that’s not all - we’ve just released another update for the demo! Check out the changelog:

✅ Improved the scanner in the washing and repair zones
✅ Added an additional fuel gauge on car dashboards
✅ Fixed the context menu in the mail app

If you played the prologue, it's time for the demo. We've just released the second update!

• RAM usage has been decreased
  
• Improved rust textures on cars
  
• Lowered the required thresholds for completing tasks at the car wash and body workshop
  
• Added sound effects for switching lights
  
• Added the ability to turn the flashlight on and off during body repairs. It can now also be used outside the workshop.
  
• Closing the tutorial now requires holding the button and has been moved to a different button than item interactions
  
• Fixed tire tracks left on the ground by cars
  
• Fixed an issue with the radio when reloading the game
