Vehicle Customization

[h2]Hello Car Dealers![/h2]
Today we’re back with vehicle customization in the upcoming Up 2 You DLC.
So far, we’ve shown how the car’s body changes when parts are replaced, and we’ve revealed one of the new colors. But this is just the beginning!

In a dedicated tuning zone, you’ll be able to wrap your cars with selected shapes and patterns. This will let you create truly unique compositions.

Decorations can be applied in layers. Arrange them freely. Change the size and color of each element.

Patterns and add-ons are grouped into categories to make the new mode easier to navigate.
Nothing stops you from mixing styles however you like.

Once you’re done, new textures will be baked in.
At any time, you’ll be able to come back and edit the design again.

New Car Model

[h2]Hello Car Dealers![/h2]
Today’s update introduces a brand-new vehicle in the full version of the game. Off-Rider Highland.

Produced during the same years as the Summit (2006–2010), the Highland was aimed at drivers who wanted the same rugged capability in a fully enclosed SUV form. Both models offered seating for five, but instead of an open bed, the Highland featured an extended rear body, providing more protected cargo space and better everyday usability.

Sharing the same proven platform, it kept a sturdy suspension, high ground clearance, and solid construction. This made it equally capable on rough terrain while offering improved comfort and weather protection for daily driving and longer trips.

The vehicle is available from Reputation Level 8.

[h3]Other changes:[/h3]

Fixed the behavior of vehicles and trailers left on sloped terrain. They no longer roll away.
Fixed incorrect rear light behavior on vehicles.
Improved the terrain around the compressor area on the player’s lot.
Removed flickering curb textures near the compressor.

Optimization Update

[h2]Hello Car Dealers![/h2]
[h3]Optimization Update for the Game’s Full Version[/h3]

Improved terrain performance, especially on lower-end hardware.
Less GPU load while keeping visual quality.
More stable framerate, especially when viewing distant areas.

What’s improved:

Terrain uses fewer textures at the same time.
Terrain uses more precise texture blending on higher quality settings, improving the look of transitions between surfaces.
Materials are simpler on lower quality settings.
Fewer details are rendered in the distance where they are not noticeable.
Reduced memory usage.
Simplified terrain rendering.
Better scaling based on graphics quality settings.

Result: smoother gameplay and fewer FPS drops.

[h3]Other Changes:[/h3]

Added a new option in Settings > Gameplay that enables more detailed information in the negotiation window, including listing price, market value, and purchase price.
Reduced the price limit that customers are willing to accept without negotiation. Customers may now agree to a higher amount if the offer remains attractive. The less attractive the offer, the lower the chance of a full-price purchase. This applies only to classic listings without the “non-negotiable” option.
Fixed an issue where customers were not entering the dealership building.
Improved map visuals in selected areas. Trees now transition smoothly instead of popping in.
Improved loading of the police station on the map.
Improved traffic pathing for AI vehicles.
