Car Dealer Simulator: Prologue - Early Days News

In today’s devlog, we’re going image-free, but we want to share some insights about our current work on the game. One of the key elements we’re currently reworking is the save system.

In the prologue, the gameplay was rather linear, so the save system mainly relied on checkpoints. However, in the demo, we are gradually opening up the game world to provide you with complete freedom in making decisions - what cars you buy, what you do with them, and how you manage your business.

As a result, we are rebuilding the save system to better suit the new gameplay structure. In addition to the option for manual saves, we are introducing an autosave system that will trigger every 2 minutes. Three slots in the save table will be reserved specifically for autosave, so you can easily revert to one of the earlier game states if needed.

This is just one of many changes we plan to make to enhance your experience in Car Dealer Simulator and make it even more immersive and satisfying. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!

In today's devlog, we have something special for you – a new mechanic that will add some spice to your business.

During the demo gameplay, our reliable Little Sam will leave you a small gift hidden in the garage. It's a magical tool that will allow you to increase the value of a car in a way that is... let's say, not entirely legal. However, remember – it's best if customers don’t find out that you're using such methods! As they say – business is business, and sometimes you have to bend the rules a little to get ahead.

With this tool, you’ll be able to "turn back time" on your car – more precisely, its mileage! A lower odometer reading can increase the car's value and attract less suspicious buyers.



But beware! Excessive tinkering may backfire – if you roll back the mileage too much, the mechanism may lock up, preventing further tampering with that vehicle. That means no more extra profit!

In previous posts, we gave you a small taste of the upcoming improvements to one of the rooms. Now it's time to introduce an exciting part – the tools that will enable truly professional work!

At the first stage, you had access to a basic set of tools: sandpaper of various grits, a putty knife, and spray paint. On the second level, you will have access to a professional toolset:

🔧 Angle Grinder – This essential tool is perfect for precisely removing rust, sanding difficult surfaces, and smoothing out irregularities in the hardest-to-reach areas. With the angle grinder, work will be fast and efficient.



🔧 Hand Polisher – A tool that allows you to smooth surfaces after applying putty, preparing them for the next stages of work.



🎨 Pressure Paint Gun – No more time-consuming and uneven painting. The paint gun ensures an even coating, saving time and delivering a perfect final result.

Hello Car Dealers!

In today’s update, we’re bringing a change that many of you have been eagerly waiting for. One of the main pieces of feedback we’ve received, which represented the majority of the negative comments, was about the use of AI. We listen to you carefully and are working hard to improve the game to make the gameplay as enjoyable as possible.

In this update, Little Sam’s voice has been replaced with a recording from a real actor. We hope you’ll enjoy the new version of Little Sam, and that this change will make the gameplay much more enjoyable.

In the previous devlog, we presented a new space – the body repair area. On the first level of the workshop, you'll be dealing with both repairs and bodywork. After upgrading the workshop, you'll gain more space, allowing you to prepare for additional upgrades and introduce new tools to the body shop! 🛠️

To make the wait a little more exciting, we've prepared a few fresh screenshots! 📸 And on Thursday, we’ll reveal more details and talk about the new tools coming to the body shop – definitely worth the wait!
