Praise be to you all, praise be! We have completed great work together - the sales of "Sultan's Game" have exceeded 250,000 in the very first week!

After our one-week break, we’re ready to work our guts out with more optimization, debugging and adding additional content. The future is bright for Sultan’s Game!

Upcoming Updates Plan

We are coming back! Here are the plan this week:
  1. Bigger font size option,
  2. New fonts and readability improvement for Japanese
  3. Auto Skip will scroll texts in higher speed
  4. Add Gallery feature, you can record the ending you have unlocked
  5. Introduction for in-game shortcuts
  6. Other improvements we announced before are in development queue and they will get updated once finished

Additionally, we are currently working on the sound and music modificiations, and we will update this part step by step.

Notice: Holiday Break

The Qingming Festival, a traditional Chinese holiday, is approaching. Our development team will be taking a three-day break. After the holiday, we’ll be back to work, continuing to improve the game with fixes and further development.

Hello everyone! Thank you for your ongoing feedback and suggestions.

[h2]New Features[/h2]
- Now players can switch between slots with playable cards by clicking on event slots.
- Added a toggle to skip rewarding period for events like Managing the Estate, Bookstore Business, News in the Bathhouse, The Grand Game, Headless Dragons, Sacred Brand, Evil Blossoms, Unreliable Ally and Assemble the Troops.


[h2]Optimizations and Bug Fixes[/h2]
- The Roaming Swordsman now requires uncovering his true identity before triggering the storyline.
- The Become Lambs event now requires placing a card to grant Piety to Conviction.
- The trigger for Honorable Bloodshed is no longer affected by other events.
- Fixed the issue where Sultan cards occasionally remained on cooldown after Assemble the Troops event concluded.
- Optimized background images for certain events.
- Fixed the issue where Jewelry Design event allows infinite stacking of consumables.
- Fixed incorrect prompts related to Sultan's Champion after completing the Departure event.
- Fixed the issue where the Other in Strange Arrival event could capture the Sultan occasionally.
- Fixed the issue where no follow-up events occurred when completing Departure event with multiple Sultan cards.
- Fixed the issue where Sultan could be captured in Frenzied Saint event.
- Fixed the issue in the White-Belly event where the protagonist and the whistle could not be placed simultaneously.
- Free Feast event now requires placing two characters to proceed.
- Fixed incorrect slot configurations for Sultan cards in the Human Sacrifice event.
- Road Map of Revolution or Testaments to Bygone Oaths now can be placed in Ansuya’s Biding Your Time event.

Dear subjects,
We are excited to announce that Sultan's Game has sold over 100K copies!
Thank you for your inconditional support. When we decided to start this project, we didn't expect a game with such crazy vibes would earn your love, but we’re happy to have conquered your hearts.
Since the texts are reaching almost 1MM, we are still working on the revision, and we promise to bring you a better experience. We’re also receiving tons of feedback and taking care of it. Expect regular patches!
Here are our planned updates:

  1. Quick Execution
    For repetitive events like Managing the Estate and Court sessions, we're introducing a new feature called [Quick Execution] that can be manually switched on and off.
    Players can switch this on for daily events to skip them in rewarding period.
    (Note: Remember to disable this feature when using special cards for storyline-related actions (e.g., requesting consorts at court) to avoid missing critical storyline. Each event has individual toggle control.
  2. Card Organization
    We are working on the feature that allows players to assign specific card categories to particular hand slots, and setting hotkeys for automatic organization.
    The auto-recommendation feature for event slots will be upgraded to suggest cards across hand rows, rather than being limited to the current row.
  3. Music & Sound Effects
    We received a lot of feedback about the music & sound effects. However, comprehensive improvements require longer development cycles.
    We'll prioritize optimizing the most disruptive sound effects and musical transitions.
    Ongoing adjustments will be rolled out based on community feedback.
  4. Sensitive Content Warning
    We are working on new game icons to help identify choices leading to sensitive storylines.
    Considering that some players like this kind of unpredictable fun, we put this feature into the Settings, so you can switch it on and off as you wish.
    But there are simply too many instances of such content (Skeleton scratching head.gif), and different people have different judgment criteria for “Sensitive”. We are still working on adding these icons but we need more time to make ongoing adjustments based on feedback, adding or removing these icons as needed.
  5. Game Save
    We are working on the manual Save/Load feature.
    Players can save/load and start from the save point.
    However, due to considerations such as save file size limitations, the save point will not support rolling back to earlier ones. And players will still need to start a new game to load new entries in the Fate's Ledger.
