We are excited to inform you all that the demo of Sultan’s Game will be updated to honour the glorious Steam Next Fest. From October 14th you can play the new version—bloodier than ever!.
Thank you infinitely to all who have been playing the game already. We’re amazed by those of you who spent +80h on the game, lol. The good news is that you will keep your progress in the Steam Next Fest demo. So don’t cry over spilled Fate points, because they won’t be spilled. To those of you who haven’t already tried the game. Welcome to the court! And fear not, because the demo will remain available even after the festival ends so you can play over, and over, and over again.
You can thank your merciful Sultan for that!
What you need to know about this new demo:
- We’ve implemented a roguelike progression to make it more interesting
- Your previous game save is compatible with this version. You can continue your journey from where you left off.
- We’ve fixed bugs based on your reports (thanks!) and optimized the game
- New feature – Fate Shop.
The Fate Shop will make it easier for you to face the game’s challenges and exploring hidden secrets. Every time you resolve a Sultan’s card or complete certain tasks, you’ll earn a Fate Point, which can be redeemed to upgrade character’s abilities, hire allies and unlock other enhancements.
The Fate Shop will include more content on the final version of the game.
Please note that because the game is still in development, the demo version may contain some events that are difficult to complete, stories that are too simple in text, and unfinished translations.
