A collaboration with “TEKKEN 8” has been confirmed!

KOEI TECMO and developer Gust are bringing the action of TEKKEN 8 from Bandai Namco Entertainment into Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land with special collaborative content including costumes, special skills and accessories which will be available as free DLC at a later date.

We have investigated the feedback we have received regarding the demo version and plan to address these as follows for the upcoming full game release. We are committed to making improvements to ensure a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. Camera Behavior
We plan to add options that allow players to choose a comfortable play environment regarding camera work and effects.
We will review settings to enable skipping certain effects/scenes, focusing on “camera behavior at the end of battles.”
An update addressing this matter is scheduled for the near future.

2. Usability Improvements
We plan to display instructions for some of the less obvious operations and adjust the feel of character controls.
This will be addressed through a series of phased updates.

3. Additional Optimization
We are working on further optimization for some platforms.
This will also be addressed through phased updates, with some improvements expected to be included in an update soon.

Atelier, Gust’s modest and long-running series, has never quite achieved the fame of similar franchises that blend crafting and RPG elements, but has increased its stake in recent years with the excellent Atelier Ryza trilogy and a stream of remasters. With Ryza’s story in their rearview, Gust turns to a new heroine and seeks to apply what it’s learned with Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Lands.





True to form, the (overlong) title refers to the newest protagonist, Yumia, a fledgling alchemist who establishes her own atelier to hone her craft. Each of the stories within the larger Atelier franchise is distinct, not unlike Final Fantasy‘s approach—applying similar terminology like “alchemy” or “mana” while not burdening itself with the continuity, lore or geography of previous games.
