Status update: Steam Deck Verified + First Major Update Coming Next Week!

We've got two big bits of news to share today:
 • Jupiter Hell Classic is now officially Steam Deck Verified - so if you wondered if you can take the roguelike carnage with you anywhere, the answer is right there!
 • The first post-launch update, version 0.6, is coming out next week on Monday, September 29th. This will be our first major content update since Early Access release, and we can't wait for you to get your hands on it!
What's coming in 0.6?
We'll leave the full change list for the announce post, but you can expect new Callisto enemies, a brand new Callisto branch (Mimir) with it's own special level, UI and mechanics transparency improvements, improved melee gameplay, grenades and multitools and Io finally getting a proper boss fight!

Callisto itself is also slowly getting a facelift!

(see that small green shield indicator? this is your ol' buddy Cornershooting, after more than 20 years maturing to Actual Cover!)
Looking ahead
This is just the beginning. We'll continue shaping JHC closely with community feedback, so please keep sharing your thoughts on the Steam forums and Discord. Every bit of input helps us prioritize what comes next. As soon as 0.6 drops we'll update the Roadmap with the current plan!

If you're enjoying the game, don't forget to leave a review - it really helps visibility and keeps the momentum going. And as always, spreading the word to your friends and communities helps ensure we can keep building the best game possible!

Thanks again for all the support since launch - we're excited to deliver 0.6 to you next week!

Sincerely,
ChaosForge
