New expansion Graviteam Tactics: Leopard's Leap



The 21st FAPLA MRBde was moving from Cuito-Cuanavale to the south-east towards r.Lomba. Reaching the north bank of the river, Bde had to cross it. And then continue the offensive together with the 47th Bde in the direction of Mavinga town, where a runway was located, which would allow the Angolan air force to support further attack on Jamba, the UNITA headquarters. The 21st MRBde approached r.Lomba from the north. The engineering units of the brigade made a pontoon bridge across the river, which allowed them to transfer heavy vehicles and weapons to the south bank and continue the offensive to Mavinga. But the Angolan forces clashed with the SADF, which began combat operations in support of UNITA, in the area of the crossing. This was the first major battle of Operation Moduler!

Update 03/08/2021

1) The execution of the order cancellation modifier has been changed (see User Manual page 33).
2) Added the Vektor R4 assault rifle.

5) Fixed issues with a delay in updating the state of the movement orders, depending on the selected modifiers.
6) Fixed a bug with the penetration of armor-piercing bullets through the turret box of the Churchill II tank.
7) Changed the algorithm for the destruction of objects with a strong impact of a shock wave (for example, from bombs), now objects can immediately be destroyed to the last stage.
8) Added alternative options for the platoon placement buttons (by right-clicking).
9) In arrival mode, platoons are placed near the road if it is close to the location of the platoon’s units.
10) For tactical combat with the battle groups, the color separation of the platoon buttons in the UI is along the border of the battle groups, instead of company borders.
11) Fixed a bug with non-active of the movement map for units that cannot shoot at the ground.
12) Added color differentiation for indication lines of various types of targets.
13) Changed the algorithm for avoiding terrain obstacles (trenches, holes, etc.) for vehicles with a large turning radius.
14) Removed the victory/defeat inscription for tactical battles in an operation.

Update 02/15/2021

1) Added counter of battles in which participated platoons. Units from platoons with more battles have less fluctuations in the level of combat sustainability at the beginning of the battle.
2) Added indication of changes in the level of the operational score for individual parameters.
3) Changed user manual.
4) The modifier of vehicle movement on the road is no longer blocked for any amount of vehicles, if a sparse formation is selected.
5) Updated operations in the DLC Operation Moduler (added a new method for calculating the results of the operation).
