Cats and Seek: Toge Land News

Hi everyone! April’s here already, so it’s time for a little update from us about what’s been happening over last month!


Kamakura is the final level you’ll be able to explore through the DLC. So in total, there will be 5 levels (1 free, 4 in the DLC):

This is a brand-new feature we added, inspired by the Eki Stamps we discovered while wandering around Tokyo last year. In Japan, a lot of train stations and tourist spots have special stamps you can use as souvenirs. We loved the idea so much that we added our own hidden stamps in Cats and Seek: Tokyo! You can find them, collect them, and use them to create your very own in-game artwork. 🎨


Yes! By the end of last month, we ran our very first community translation for Cats and Seek: Tokyo, and the response was amazing. We're super grateful for your support!
Thanks to everyone’s help, the game is now translated into 15 languages so far! 🎉

It’s April, which means it’s launch month for Cats and Seek: Tokyo! 😳 We’re a bit nervous, haha. There’s still a lot to double-check and polish. Once everything is ready, we’ll announce the official release date. Stay tuned!

Hello everyone!

Time flies and here we are in March 2025! Here's a little update on what's been happening since January.

[h3]Cats and Seek: Tokyo[/h3]


As of today, 4 levels are ready to play! You can explore Asakusa, Akihabara, Ueno Park, and Shibuya. Estu is currently working on the final level, making a total of 5 levels in Cats and Seek: Tokyo. One level will be available for free with all its achievements, while the other 4 will be part of the DLC for those who want extra content. The DLC is available to wishlist now!

[h3]Cats and Seek: Toge Land[/h3]
Back in January, we collaborated with Toge Productions to release Cats and Seek: Toge Land to celebrate their anniversary. We're so happy to see that the game has received 189 reviews so far! Thank you so much to everyone who played and left a review 🥰

[h3]Prototype[/h3]
We also tested an early prototype for another game series we're working on. So far, we've received more than 60 feedback submissions through the survey included in the prototype. Thank you to the 180+ members who have joined our Patreon! We've been sharing sneak peeks of upcoming levels there, and we're so grateful for your support.

We also received a suggestion from one of our players about community localization. Currently, all cat descriptions are only available in English because there are so many of them, and professional translation would be too expensive for us. Meanwhile, AI translations often produce weird or awkward phrases.

I'm now looking into ways to set up a community localization system that would be easy for everyone to use. Once I figure it out, I'll share the details on Patreon. And if you're interested in helping, please join us! Our Patreon is free to join.

When Sajo first reached out to collaborate, I couldn’t help but think this might be a sneaky way to jump the queue for the cat name submissions in Cats and Seek series hahaha. But seriously, Sajo has been supporting Cats and Seek from day one, and we’re beyond grateful for that.

This collaboration was such a refreshing change of pace for us. Between working on the Cats and Seek series, drawing Toge’s iconic characters was a blast. And it wasn’t just Sajo... Toge Productions’ whole team has been incredibly supportive. The music team even contributed their tracks to the game! How cool is that!
