Interface and settings: tips for the game

We're currently hard at work on fixes and various improvements, though we're not quite ready to share the details just yet. But there is another area which we want to highlight today - different Quality of Life features and overall settings! Those options might help you to speed up the game (even more), access advisors faster, or change vibrancy of the game.

[h3]Change Fast Forward Multiplayer[/h3]
Increase speed by right-clicking the speed button and choosing a suitable option.


[h3]Pin Advisor Windows[/h3]
Press pin button to pin any of the advisor windows to the top bar.


[h3]Game Graphics Vibrancy[/h3]
Adjust the game GFX vibrancy levels by pressing Esc and clicking on User Settings.


[h3]God Mode[/h3]
Toggle God Mode on/off in the settings menu at any time.


[h3]Day and Weather Effects[/h3]
Toggle Weather and Day/Night Cycle on/off by pressing Esc, clicking on User Settings, and then clicking on Simulation.


[h3]Hide Map[/h3]
Hide mini-map by pressing button in the bottom-left.


[h3]Hide UI[/h3]
And last but not least - hide the entire UI by pressing the “\” (backslash) button on your keyboard (if you are using US layout - otherwise check hotkeys in settings).

* Allowed stone canals to provide a partial bulwark against flooding
* Fix for potential bug with soldiers attacking enemies inside friendly buildings
* Expanded available vibrancy settings, moderated default
* Made construction-materials visible on hover for most structures

* Modified cisterns to display their connection-tiles more prominently during placement
* Made annual production/consumption of goods visible in tooltips for craft-buildings
* Adjusted trade-quotas for foreign cities to match units used for trading-post storage
