FISHING TOURNAMENT - HOW IT WORKS

I know you've all been waiting for the fishing tournament to start. We had planned to get it going sooner, but sometimes life throws you a few surprises, and you just have to deal with them. We're very close now though so I'm going to share how it will work when it starts.

The tournament is 21 days long.

Each day will have new prizes and new fishing goals which will be listed in the chat console! (3 prizes per day)

Certain fish can only be caught on certain days! There are 21 tournament fish to catch in all! (1 per day) If you're a collector, you'll need to fish every day to catch all the tournament fish. (or wait till the next tournament when they may return)

There will be a first, 2nd and third prize each day! The player with the heaviest fish in each category is the winner!

More fishing enhancements...

After the tournament starts, the farmer's coop will have 2 new NPCs. One buys fish for recubes and another will trade ultra-rare fish for unique fishing outfits. This is not related to tournament prizes. Just an enhancement.

There will be a new hunting ground in the wildlands called the winter hunting ground with unique fish.

The cubic town center will also have a fishing leaderboard bumper you can check.

Also, at the start of the tournament a limited set of rare items are being added into the oceans and lakes. So there's a chance to fish a rare block or wearable instead of a fish! (until they're all gone!) So even if you don't win the tournament you can still win! There are halos, kissing booths, and other discontinued items of varying worth. There are even Ramm kennels!!

As usual thank you to everyone who took part, it was great to see all of your builds. Remember if you would like your builds to be displayed in the contest room for a little while please do not remove the warp food bumpers!

Valentines Building Contest 2021 (OFFICIAL EVENT)

The new Valentines building contest is here so grab your favorite Valentines blocks and get building!

Rules

- All builds must be 33x33 no bigger or smaller
- All builds must have been purchased no earlier than the 14th February
- All builds must include an info bumper and a warp food bumper
- Warp food for finished builds must be submitted to the realm "Valentines Contest 2021"
- Teams are allowed but the prize will go to the owner of the realm
- Please no copying other peoples hard work!
- - Please do not cover up your warp food bumper, we may need to make extra warps!
- Please do not remove your warp food bumper until the results are posted, if we can't get to it then you can't win!

The Best Realms Of 2020 (OFFICIAL EVENT) RESULTS!!!

As per usual thank you for everyone who entered this year we had some really interesting stuff!
A few notes though:
Over the course of the submission a lot of people were caught building, i want to reiterate that this is supposed to be a celebration of good builds from the previous year. Building in 2021 is considered cheating and everyone who was caught doing so was instantly disqualified. This shouldn't be something we have to point out, it is common sense. If people can't be trusted for fun celebrations like this then we will just stop doing them.
Also we still saw people try to sneak seasonal builds in this year, they again are instantly disqualified, you can't enter a competition build for another competition, and we aren't stupid we do notice.
Also adding something to a build to get it in a category is not going to fly either ( looking at you scenic builds with clanstones with a clan that does not really exist)
Finally at the judges discretion some of the categories have been removed or rolled into other categories, this was either due to not enough entries or the quality of the entries not deserving the win. We have stated previously that just because you might be the only submission does not mean you will win. This also goes for the same with categories we have not awarded all 5 positions to as we felt in some instances there were not 5 deciding winners.
All in all though a fantastic effort from everyone! You have a whole year to go out there and build something wonderful so get too it!

Welcome everyone to the best realms of 2020! As per usual we take a look back at the builds of last year to remind our self's of all the greatness the community has achieved!
This year we shall be doing it a little different but i believe this will overall make it easier to judge and for the players to see the builds!
