Developer Note: Upcoming Improvements
[p]
[/p][p]Hello, this is JANG, the Executive Producer of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.
As Game of Thrones: Kingsroad reaches its 100th day since the official launch, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the incredible support and enthusiasm you’ve shown.[/p][p] [/p][p]In this developer note, we will be sharing upcoming improvements and changes currently in development, based directly on the feedback and suggestions you have sent us.[/p][p] [/p]

🌍 World Level System
[p] [/p][p]The World Level System has been introduced in our latest update.
Currently, World Levels 1 and 2 are available. World Level 1 unlocks upon completing the main quest “Snow and Storm” from Episode XIV – The Crow’s Bastard, while World Level 2 becomes available once your Momentum reaches 150,000.
The difficulty of World Level 1 is set to match the final boss of the current main quest. As the World Level increases, rewards for repeatable content will scale accordingly, giving greater value for the challenge.
With the World Level System, players can now explore and engage with field content across all areas continuously, without waiting for scheduled events. For example, defeating Fierce Beasts at the designated World Level grants Tier 6 crafting materials, allowing you to hunt across all regions and maximize your chances of collecting rare resources.[/p][p]
When the next World Level is added in a future update, drop rates for these materials will be higher, further enhancing both the sense of accomplishment and the value of rewards. We believe this system will offer more opportunities than ever to acquire legendary-grade materials.[/p][p]
Along with scaling difficulty and rewards, World Levels will also bring updates to certain content. We’re exploring options like making Bounties repeatable and other such improvements to content, and will share more details in a future developer note once these plans are finalized.[/p][p][/p]

[p] [/p]
🏰 Altar of Memories
[p][/p][p]Starting in Season 3, Altar of Memories will also receive difficulty scaling alongside the World Level System.[/p][p]* Please note that the Altar’s difficulty won’t always align perfectly with the World Level.
As new World Levels are unlocked, higher Altar of Memories difficulties will become available, with rewards increasing alongside the challenge.
Wish Rewards will be shared across all dungeons at the same difficulty, and the Wish Reward count will apply universally among them. For example, a Wish Reward set in the Blue Cockatrice dungeon will also apply to the Giant Ice Spider dungeon at the same difficulty level.
In future updates, higher Altar difficulties will also feature legendary-grade equipment as Wish Rewards. These legendary rewards will require higher accumulated counts than Epic-grade items, encouraging progression at higher tiers.
For this update, the Giant Ice Spider hard difficulty has been added as the first scaled difficulty. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce more bosses with modified difficulty levels, giving players exciting new challenges to tackle.
We have also heard feedback that entering the Altar of Memories can be slower depending on a player’s environment, which can negatively impact rankings. To address this, a brief wait time will be introduced at the start of Altar runs beginning with the Season 3 update.[/p][p] [/p]

[p] [/p]
🦑 Altar of Lost Memories - Hard Mode
[p][/p][p]We are currently also preparing a Hard mode for the Altar of Lost Memories, and along with it, we are revising the reward structure. This includes potential adjustments to amulet crafting and the overall reward system.
These changes are currently in the planning stage and will require additional time before they can be finalized. Once the improvements are confirmed, we will provide detailed information in a future developer note.[/p][p] [/p]

[p] [/p]
🔥 Season 3 Improvements
[p] Here’s a look at some of the improvements we’ll be making during Season 3.[/p]
✨ Convenience Features Made Free
[p]The Westeros Welcome Package and Messenger Raven features currently available for purchase will be discontinued.
[/p][p]All features previously included in these packages will be available for free, directly in-game. Players can enjoy these quality-of-life features freely, making for a smoother gameplay experience. (Players who have already purchased these features will be refunded the Iron Bank Marks spent.)[/p][p] [/p]
⚡ Worker Stamina Removal
[p]Starting with Season 3, the worker system will no longer use stamina. This change will allow players to assign their workers freely to any activity without restriction.[/p][p]You will be able to repeatedly use your most valuable workers as much as you want for production, trade, and expeditions, giving you greater flexibility and efficiency in managing your workforce.[/p][p] [/p]
🐺 No RP Cost for First-Time Field Content Rewards
[p]First-time rewards from field content will be granted without consuming RP.[/p][p]We understand that many players found RP costs restrictive, so this change will allow you to enjoy field content more freely while still earning your rewards.[/p][p] [/p]
🗡️ Option to Spend RP After Clearing Field Content
[p]Players will also have the option to choose whether or not to consume RP after clearing field content. You can continue spending RP to receive rewards as the current system, or opt not to consume RP and repeatedly collect regional currency while playing content.[/p][p] [/p]
❄️ Beyond the Wall Expedition Improvements
[p]Beyond the Wall Expeditions will no longer consume tickets for first-time clears.[/p][p]Additionally, your achievements from the previous season will be taken into account, allowing you to skip lower stages and start directly at a difficulty that matches your progress. Jump in at the start of the season and challenge the stage that’s right for you.[/p][p] [/p]

[p] [/p]
🍰 100 Day Celebration Rewards
[p] [/p][p]To celebrate the 100th day since launch, we've prepared the following rewards, which you can claim from your in-game mailbox.[/p][p] [/p]

[p] [/p][p]In addition to the updates shared above, we want you to know that we’ve heard all of your feedback, including suggestions related to the ranking system and other frequently mentioned areas. We understand these are important to you, and while some improvements are still under review and being carefully developed, we truly appreciate your patience as we work to make the experience better. For matters not covered in this note, discussions and planning are still ongoing, and we'll share detailed updates once everything is finalized.
In our next developer note, we’ll share more updates and news about Season 3.
Until then, we hope you enjoy the new World Level System and the 100-Day Celebration rewards to the fullest. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support, feedback, and enthusiasm.
Thank you once again for being an important part of the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad journey.
Sincerely,[/p][p]JANG[/p][p]Executive Producer, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad
