Patch 1.0.2 - Performance Optimizations

Hi everyone,

Thanks for patiently waiting! I'm aware of the performance issues that some players are experiencing. This latest patch aims to address those issues.

  • Revamped how optimization was done to the characters (customers especially). Characters that are really far away will either be invisible or have low detailed movement, shadows, and animations. Previously, only their 3D models were affected.
  • Optimized some shaders and textures.
  • Optimized some animations when far away from the camera.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused customers to not despawn until the game was saved or auto-saved.
  • Fixed a bug with the building menu UI for certain languages.
  • Frame Rate is now capped to 60 by default. Can still be changed in the Options menu.

That's it for now! Please continue to give feedback and bug reports as I'm committed to improving the game.

Cheers!
-Justin

Food Park Manager is now Available!

You know, I just realized I didn't actually announce the release of the game here on Steam. So the featured news on the page is still about demo patch notes. I didn't like that so let's just pretend that I'm announcing the game's release on time.

Ehem...

Hey everyone! After almost a year of development, Food Park Manager is now available on Steam! If you're looking for a cozy and chill management game, give this a try.

Also, the demo is still available to play for anyone who's on the fence. I don't have any plans to remove the demo so far. So if you're not sure if the game is for you, just try out the demo first.

That's it for now. Enjoy the game!
