It's a new year!
The hold on the Wendy, Wortox, and Walter skill update has created a scenario in which we have to juggle some updates a bit to prevent further disruption. As discussed previously, we wanted to better address the skill trees but we also have to make sure we're delivering on the other updates that we were already working on. Most of Wendy's changes are in the beta update today, leaving the Woby changes to Walters Skill trees to come a short while after. So it's going to be a bit longer before the whole update is released fully. We want to ensure that the result of the extra time spent on this update is that last year had one less update and not that this year (or both) is short an update. 

We'll have more information about when that update is going out pretty soon. 

On that note, as we do every January, we are also taking some time to look at the previous year and the year ahead of us, what we want to accomplish for the game and the studio as a whole, and how to best adjust our plans accordingly.

We're pretty much set to go and almost ready to share a new update plan (roadmap) with everybody, very soon. We're pretty excited, and we think you're going to be too.

Changes

• Improved behaviour when trying to decorate a Snowman using items from your backpack or other containers.
  
• Updated the Chinese localization files.
  

Bug Fixes

• Fixed bug where everyone, including Wes, was using Wilson’s strings when rolling Snowballs.
  
• Fixed crash when equipping Moggles or Eyebrella on Snowman.
  
• Fixed crash loading some worlds with carved Pumpkins.
  
• Fixed crash if the first footstep you take after spawning in is to roll a Snowball.

Winter's Feast
During the Winter's Feast event players can find a bunch of Winter's Feast themed features including seasonal Winter Foods, craftable Gifts and Gift Wraps, tons of Winter's Feast themed decorations and more! We've also got new skins and special drop rates on Winter themed skins. This year - Build a snowman so you don't have to Starve Alone!

In light of the delay of our skill spotlight update, we are putting out our Winter's Feast event for you next week on Thursday December 19th. 

With this update we will have a small but festive addition to the Winter's Feast event in addition to some new Streaming Drops, new Merrymaker skins, a login bonus item as well as our regular Winter's Feast drop rate increase.
