Changes
  • W.O.B.O.T. may now store items into backpacks again.
  • Increased W.O.B.O.T. durability by 75%.
  • Willow’s Flame Cast, Combustion, and Fire Ball spells can now be repeat casted without having to re-open the spell wheel each time.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed bug with items spilling onto the ground when equipping stacked items from an upgraded chest.
  • Fixed W.O.B.O.T. behavior on boats and when teleported.
  • Fixed W.O.B.O.T. idle animation freezing sometimes.
  • The “Remember my choice” option on the “Caves or No Caves” screen can now be accessed by controllers.
  • Fixed a texture overlay in the Cookbook.
  • Fixed attack targeting priority for Resting Horror over the Relic Chair.
  • Fixed a crash related to Powder Monkeys and Cannons.
  • Fixed Wagstaff being too evasive from setting up his work station when players were nearby.
  • Fixed Lightbug Flower growing too fast in Spring when their world settings were changed.
  • Fixed a crafting bug with stacking items disappearing if they had different skins while holding it in the mouse active slot.


Notes for Modders
  • SpringGrowthMod utility function has been added to act as a centralized modifier for timers related to growth.

Changes
  • “Infinite” stacks are now capped at 4,294,967,296, for safety reasons.
  • Using the Scaled Furnace to destroy creatures is naughty.
  • W.O.B.O.T. now only stores items in chest-like containers (chests, ice boxes, bookshelves).
  • W.O.B.O.T.'s deploy helper will now only show up when positioning a crafting recipe.
  • Adjusted boat placement with controllers to reduce flickering.

  • Fixed W.O.B.O.T. trying to store items indefinitely into Crock Pots or Sunken Chests.
  • Fixed bug with not being able to swap ammo or tackle with the “Set Ammo” or “Attach Tackle” actions.
  • Fixed Scaled Furnace's destroy feature not being accessible on controllers.
  • Fixed Scaled Furnace not being able to destroy empty containers.
  • Fixed Living Logs not screaming when destroyed in the Scaled Furnace.

  • Fixed Scrappy Werepig respawn timer restarting during a world reload when it is fully buried.
  • Fixed bug where Scrappy Werepig was sometimes not blocking teleports after being defeated.
  • Fixed bug where Scrappy Werepig would permanently forget how to rummage for multiple weapons at once after being teleported at low health.
  • Fixed bug where Frostjaw can sometimes get stuck if they dive under the ice right as they are defeated.
  • Treeguard are no longer immune to Lunar Spores.
  • Lunar Fun Cap added to scrapbook.
  • Fixed missing moon Scared Stiff Sapling item name.
  • Fixed Pirate Monkeys not steering right.
  • Fixed Ancient Key position being hidden when you drop a Thulecite Medallion even if you have another one in your inventory.
  • Fixed Friendly Fruit Fly from getting stuck when interrupted while dancing.


Notes to Modders
  • SetIncineratedSound has been deprecated and removed use inst.incineratesound or the other murdersound variables on health and murderable components.

  • Support Pillar and Dreadstone Pillar's deploy helper now only show up in the caves.
  • Living Logs now scream when eaten.
  • Some creatures will make sounds when incinerated.

  • Fixed animation bug with certain Junky Fences turning invisible when hit.

  • When murdering critters stacked inside an upgraded chest, you will now murder one regular sized stack at a time.

  • Fixed bug where items stacked inside an upgraded chest may drop all over the ground when they perish.
  • Broken-down Chest no longer forms in the ocean.
  • Fixed crash when a boat with a Broken-down Chest sinks.
  • Fixed a bug with loading custom control mappings.

Hotfix 600454

Changes
  • Scrappy Werepig can now be slept.
  • When upgraded chests are destroyed or deconstructed, and there are too many item stacks to drop, a Broken-down Chest is left behind instead. Rebuilding it will restore the original chest as well as the remaining items within it.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a crash related to Frostjaw spawning.
  • Fixed Rosy Red Cane rarity not being Loyal.
  • Fixed missing string for Abigail’s The Supernatural.

Glass Cannon Unplugged are pleased to announce that they will be responsible for bringing to the world the official board game adaptation of the award-winning video game Don’t Starve, as part of a long-term licensing partnership with Klei Entertainment.

Designed by Rafał Pieczyński—lead developer of the highly acclaimed and multi-award-winning Frostpunk:The Board Game, with narrative direction by Jakub Wiśniewski—known for his work on This War Of Mine and Frostpunk:The Board Game—and Natanel Vo-Apfel of Into The Outside: Prelude fame, Don't Starve: The Board Game transports 1-4 players into the unrelenting, randomly generated nightmare world of the Constant, a distant and ominous realm where magic and science intertwine in ways better left unspoken. Pitched against the elements and a grim pantheon of baddies, the players assume the roles of iconic characters from the video game, having to work closely together and use their wits to outsmart fate, strive for subsistence and simply stay alive.

With its mechanics highlighting player choice, dynamic combat, and open-world exploration in night and day conditions, Don't Starve: The Board Game is bound to transcend to unexplored levels of immersion, with its visual design fully embracing the unique, whimsical art style long cherished by fans of the series.

The game will be made available through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign that is expected to fully utilize the creative potential of the source material, with a wealth of content offered via expansions, add-ons and future retail releases.
