[p]Hey everyone! We have a larger update coming very soon… but we wanted to push out a quick modding update as soon as possible. Here’s the change log:[/p][p][/p][h2]Modding[/h2][p]Mods are pretty cool, but when mods mess up another players’ saves that’s not so cool. There’s only so much we can do without dedicated servers, but we’re adding some preliminary mod support to help keep your progression safe and better inform you when a lobby is modded.[/p]
  • [p]Switched our scripting backend to mono to make modding easier[/p]
  • [p]Modded lobbies are prefixed with \[MODDED] in the lobby list[/p]
    • [p]In a later update we plan to display a list of all loaded mods before joining a modded lobby[/p]
  • [p]Modded clients can’t join lobbies that have ‘Allow Modded Joiners’ disabled. This option can be toggled in the lobby list screen.[/p]
    • [p]Soon we’ll be supporting tags for mods uploaded through Thunderstore so that players with non-sandbox mods can still join normal lobbies[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Upgrades[/h2][p]Carver upgrades now have correct names in English (previously they were showing dev names when translated)[/p]
  • [p]Our next update (coming very soon) will add an option to automatically translate these Hashetty upgrades into English. To provide some context, the Carver and Globbler upgrades are in Hashetty because we ran out of time to localize them but we still wanted to include them in our initial release (:[/p]
[p][/p][p]Carver: Blood Bucket[/p]
  • [p]Now increases max blood the correct amount. Previously this upgrade increased the max blood stacks waaaaay more than it displayed.[/p]
[p]Carver: Blood Coating[/p]
  • [p]Damage resistance now only applies when holding the Carver[/p]

Pure chaos, that's what Mycopunk is. It's exceptionally bizarre and now my new favourite first-person shooter because it's so wildly unique.

[p]In the last patch we accidentally disabled most drop pod landing locations in Titan City so we're fixing that. Oopsie.[/p]

  • [p]Cranius now drops 4 upgrades the first time you kill him each week (this reset starts next Thursday)[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Leveling Curves[/h3]
  • [p]Less XP is required to level up at higher levels. Any employees over level 10 and any weapons over level 5 will gain the extra XP that was ‘missed’ before this update.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Gunship Cannon[/h3]
  • [p]Gunship Cannon skins were previously dropping with incorrect values that could make the entire gun glow. Your current skins will stay as they are but all future skins will drop with the correct values.[/p]
  • [p]The Gunship Cannon’s ejected magazine now matches the gun’s skin[/p]

  • [p]Fixed upgrades that modified damage resistance displaying incorrect values[/p]

  • [p]Slightly increased the time between enemy waves at higher threat levels[/p]
  • [p]After an enemy drops the power core, there is a cooldown before another enemy can pick it up[/p]
  • [p]We’ll likely be making more changes to how enemies prioritize the battery in the future, but we’ll see how this change plays out first.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Titan City[/h3]
  • [p]Hunk can now path across the canal without going berserk[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Cleanup Detail gunks sometimes all spawning in the center of the city[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some holes in the large fountain water colliders[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Misc[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed some issues that could cause players to get stuck in their menu with certain skins[/p]
  • [p]All employees now grunt at the same volume[/p]
  • [p]Added an explosion sound for the decay element[/p]
  • [p]Abomination attacks are now louder[/p]
  • [p]Meteor objective falling sound is quieter[/p]
  • [p]Added a sound for picking up a meteor chunk[/p]
  • [p]Added a limiter to resource collect sounds so that you aren’t bombarded with noise when you collect a bunch of gats all at once[/p]
  • [p]Enemy Laser Beams are now louder only when aiming at players[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the start of the drop pod music to not play[/p]
  • [p]Fixed car engines sounding weird and messed up[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the sound effect for a target that has the water element applied to it looping infinitely[/p]
  • [p]Mission modifiers in the HUB no longer overlap with the text chat[/p]
  • [p]Removed the ‘demo_intro’ text at the start of the Ground Zero mission. Oops.[/p]
