Update v1.09: Corners and Smacking

  • [p]Accessing corner equipment via controllers is now possible again[/p]
  • [p]Fried chicken is now combinable on counter even after multi-hold is unlocked (and without a plate)[/p]
  • [p]When customers are emoting (after finishing their meal) they can be interrupted with a smack[/p]
  • [p]Fixes:[/p]
    • [p]Servers should never be texting anymore[/p]
    • [p]I've removed all risky music from the Streamer Friendly music pool[/p]
    • [p]Improved table moving in build mode[/p]

Update v1.08: More control changes

[p]This latest update aims to return the player controls back to the style of Diner Bros 1[/p][p][/p][h3]Update v1.08[/h3]
  • [p]Additional changes to equipment hitboxes and player aim/movement controls[/p]
  • [p]The high camera angle is now the default view[/p]
    • [p]The intent is for improved clarity when aiming at equipment.[/p]
    • [p]If you like the old view, you can get it back by toggling "Alternate Camera Angle" in the options[/p]
  • [p]Difficulty:[/p]
    • [p]Reduced chance of extra customer spawns[/p]
    • [p]Reduced chance of NPC_Kid ordering large quantities of chicken[/p]
    • [p]Reduced chance of NPC_Kid spawning[/p]
  • [p]2 Player mode: Server will now show up earlier: Usually a few days after the first restaurant expansion. Previously, they would only show up after the second restaurant expansion[/p]
  • [p]Daily Rating Letter: Slightly more negative weighting to customer wait times[/p]
  • [p]"Bare Minimum Achievement": the requirement for 0 customers leaving has been removed[/p]

Update v1.04: A quick fix for a soft lock

[h3]Update v1.04[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed softlock caused by quitting immediately after buying an important item, going back to character select, and then restarting the same level (This is just a quick fix that won't fix soft-locked save files, it'll be best to just start a new save file - sorry!)[/p]
  • [p]Added "Limit FPS" to the options (I would only use this if changing "Quality" does nothing) [/p]
  • [p]Bumped up chance to see table in store [/p]
  • [p]Fixed broken wall texture in Chicken Bros[/p]

Diner Bros 2 is finally here!
[p](Took 'em long enough!)[/p][p]It's been a long road and I'm proud to finally release the game into the wild! Grab it before the launch discount expires![/p][p]If you played the original Diner Bros, thank you so much. Your support made Diner Bros 2 possible. There's a few of you with >100 of hours logged (Crazy)! I think you'll enjoy the sequel, it's what I wanted the original to be. Fun fact: I wanted to have customizable layouts in DB1, but I didn't have the experience to do it properly back then. [/p][p]I'd love to hear what you think the game. What's fun? What's confusing?
