A Smarter Interface
Hey there, Electricians! ⚡
We all know what an electrician does, but the real question is how they do it. More specifically—what you’ll be able to do in the game and how you’ll interact with the tools of the trade. Today, we’re diving into the nuts and bolts of the new UI elements in Electrician Simulator VR.

Check it Out

Your mission details are going old-school... sort of. You’ll keep all your tasks and notes on a clipboard that’s always by your side. Need to check what’s next? Just reach for it—it’s like unfastening it from your belt, and boom, your trusty clipboard is in your hands.
But remember, any good electrician knows better than to read while fixing. Keep your focus on one thing at a time, or you might short-circuit your progress!

Tick Tock, Watch the Clock

Your smartwatch is leveling up! It’ll still show real-world time (because, hey, someone’s gotta keep track), but now it’s packed with extras.
You’ll get calls from customers right on your wrist, complete with their photo and name. It’ll even monitor your pulse, so if something shocking happens—like, say, a little zap—you’ll know right away. Fingers crossed it never has to send that alert!
While you won’t be able to interact with the watch directly, it’ll always keep you updated on mission progress and other critical info.

What’s in Store?

The in-game store has had a bit of a makeover! Forget about physical locations—now the store is fully virtual, and you can pull it up anytime. Just press the menu button on your left controller, and you’re good to go.
Need to buy tools or parts? Point and click with the laser and grab what you need. Selling items? Just place the item in the store’s UI, and it’s gone.
Worried about blowing your budget? Don’t sweat it. During missions, the store will show you how much cash you’ve got for the job. And back at the workshop, you’ll see your total account balance—hopefully growing as you nail those commissions!

Get a Grip

Your hands are about to become your best friends. When interacting with objects, you’ll see helpful prompts like, “Cables not connected” or hints about what actions are available. You’ll also know which objects are grabbable, as their names will pop up when you hover over them.

These on-hand messages are here to keep the gameplay flowing smoothly and ensure you always know what’s at your fingertips—literally!

That’s all for now, Electricians! We hope these updates have sparked your interest and amped up your excitement for Electrician Simulator VR. Keep your tools ready and your anticipation high—there’s more to come soon. See you in the next devlog!

Electrifying Upgrades
Hey there, Electricians! ⚡
Things are sparking up over here! Right now, we’re fine-tuning all the cool items you’ll be assembling during your jobs, and we’ve gotta say—we’re pretty proud of how they’re shaping up. VR has its own set of challenges when it comes to mechanics, but it also gives us the chance to make the game feel even more real.

And it’s not just about things like opening drawers and cabinets with physics-based interactions (though, yes, we’ve nailed that too). We’re adding big upgrades and tiny details to make sure the game feels alive and intuitive—so your everyday actions, like grabbing or opening stuff, feel natural and fun instead of frustrating.

So, what’s in store for you this time? Let’s flip the switch and take a look.

Let There Be Light

Do you enjoy assembling lamps? We’ve got plenty of that lined up, but we’ve added a little extra spark to keep it interesting.
Warm up those wrists, because you’ll be screwing in light bulbs! Just be careful—those bulbs and glass lampshades are delicate! Drop one on a hard surface, and snap—there it goes. That’s right, we’ve added breakable glass to keep you on your toes. Handle with care, folks!
Oh, and here’s a fun little touch: lamps won’t just hang stiffly from the ceiling anymore. Now they’ll sway gently, adding some life to the spaces you’re working on. It’s the little things that make a big difference, right?

What’s on TV?

TVs are getting a glow-up too. For the retro models, you’ll need to adjust the antenna to pick up a signal. And once you’ve got everything hooked up and working, you can kick back and use a remote control to test the setup. Unless, of course, you’ve misplaced the remote—because, well, we all know how sneaky those things can be!

Flawed But Fun

Not everything in your electrician journey will go as planned—because where’s the fun in that? Some devices might come with a few… quirks. For example, we’ve added a faulty lamp that’ll burn out any bulb you screw into it. Frustrating? Maybe. Realistic? You bet!
And who knows what other surprises we’ve got up our sleeves? Let’s just say we’ve got a few more tricks in the wiring for you.

Stay Tuned

Excited? You should be! We’re working hard to make sure this game is as electrifying as possible. Keep an eye out for more updates—there’s a lot more current running through Electrician Simulator VR.

Detect, Connect, Master!
Hey there, Electricians! ⚡
We bet you’re buzzing with excitement for the VR version of Electrician Simulator, right? Well, we’ve got some shocking updates to share with you today—partly to satisfy your curiosity and partly to amp up your anticipation! Trust us, there’s going to be plenty to spark your interest. Ready to plug into the details? Let’s go!

Big Changes in the Cable Game

In the VR version, you’ll still be doing the classics: connecting wires in junction boxes, installing switches and sockets, and running cables along walls to power up devices. But here’s the twist—we’ve recharged these mechanics specifically for VR to make them more immersive and hands-on.
The biggest overhaul? Cable detection. Now, instead of automatically knowing where wires are hidden, you’ll need to trace them manually on the wall. Sound tricky? Well, that’s the life of an electrician! Cables don’t just announce themselves—you’ve got to go find them. And to help you out, we’ve added a new tool to your kit:

The Cable Detector – This little beauty lets you locate hidden wires and even measures voltage. Handy, right? Just make sure you’ve got it packed before heading out to your next job!

And to make things even smoother, we’re introducing the Cable Bundle. This trusty companion will be your go-to for laying down new wiring and getting the job done right.

Don’t Blow a Fuse

Fuses are still part of the job, and we’ve recharged their mechanics for VR. But wait—there’s more! To turn up the voltage (pun intended), we’ve added some extra challenges.
Picture this: the lights go out with a loud snap, and you’re stumbling in the dark trying to figure out what went wrong. Sound familiar? Fuses are your circuit’s bodyguards, keeping overloads at bay, and now they’ve got limits. Each fuse can only handle a certain load, depending on the voltage requirements of the devices connected to it. Exceed the limit? Boom—fuse blown.
It’s up to you to wire everything up smartly so the whole system runs like a dream. Think you’re up to the task?

Stay Current

Feeling energized? We hope so! These are just a few of the updates we’ve got in store, and there’s much more where that came from. We can’t wait for you to dive into the world of VR electrician work—it’s going to be electrifying!
Let us know what you think—your feedback is the spark that keeps us going!

A spark of change!
Hi Electricians!
We are working at high speed, after all, we aim to bring Electrician Simulator to virtual reality. This requires us, first of all, to take a proper look at the whole of the existing game. Electrician Simulator on PC and consoles was of course in 3D, but now we have to make it even more than 3D. All of the existing actions have to be redesigned to align with the specificity of VR. So that you can fully feel like electricians, pick up tools and get down to wiring.

All of the actions, that is, what kind of actions? Will Electrician Simulator become a completely different game through VR? Is there anything old left in it?

Something old

Certainly the essentials. Your favorite places remain in the game, but in a completely new version and with new mechanics. You will see familiar houses and familiar tasks. Let us share which ones we've already transferred to VR mechanics. Setting up items such as light switches and junction boxes, connecting plugs and junction box cables to outlets. Installing outlets and switches on the junction box, installing fuses and lamps, also screwing in bulbs. We'll write more about all this in detail in the future, because for practically every one of these things we have some additions planned, whether more stylistic or new, interesting mechanics to diversify the gameplay.

Something new

Just as various perks will enter the installation assembly, the game as a whole will receive some changes and novelties. One such major change will be the functioning of the store. In previous versions, you could only access the store from your garage, so you had to make all your purchases before going on a work assignment. Now you will have access to it all the time, so even if you forget to get something, it will only take a few clicks, because you always have the store at hand. In addition, if you don't need something, it won't have to dust at your workshop, from now on we have also introduced the possibility to sell items in the store.

Unique mechanics

Speaking of novelties, we are also introducing unique mechanics in some levels. Such tasks as opening cardboard boxes and even... extinguishing a fire await you! It's getting really hot.

Anything for you

We are constantly trying to come up with the most interesting solutions and novelties for our loyal players, veterans of the PC or console versions, while still staying true to what Electrician Simulator is. Keep your fingers crossed for us, and we will do our best to meet your requirements and keep you happy!

Electrician Simulator VR is coming!

Dear Players!

In September 2022, we released the Electrician Simulator on Steam. The game received free updates for almost a year, with new content and missions. In May 2023, we released DLC extending the game to smart devices, and in autumn 2023, all console owners could play the game.

It's nice to see you after the break!

Today we are announcing something we have been working hard on for the past months. Encouraged by the extremely warm reception of Electrician Simulator and seeing the potential of this game in another version, we decided to create a new version of the title - this time completely in VR!

Electrician Simulator VR is the game you know so well, but diversified with redesigned missions, customers now having their own voices, new mechanics, and even more fun gameplay. If you enjoyed the original title, we guarantee that the VR version experience will be even better!

We are also already declaring that the game will receive our full support upon release. We will want to further develop this product with you by releasing free content expansions. In the meantime, we encourage you to add the game to your Wishlist and to join our Discord server.
