Path to Serenity - Release Announcement!

Hi everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that Path to Serenity will be released on the 16th of June. It has been an incredible journey to reach this milestone, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has provided feedback and support along the way.

Path to Serenity will be available on Steam, Itch.io, and the Humble Store starting June 16th. For every unit sold on these platforms, I will donate $0.10 to the Safe in Our World charity.

I hope you'll enjoy Path to Serenity and its message, which is dear to my heart: finding happiness in life. For me, that means spending more time at home with my son and family, creating games, and building my studio. I believe everyone has their own path to happiness.

Thank you once again for wishlisting my game and for reading my posts.

Path to Serenity - Safe in Our World

Exciting Collaboration Announcement!

Hello everyone!

I am thrilled to announce a meaningful collaboration with Safe in Our World - The Video Games Mental Health Charity. For every sale of my game once it releases on Steam, Itch io and hopefully on the Humble Store (working on that!), I will be donating $0.10 to their cause.

Mental health has been a personal journey for me since childhood, and supporting this cause means a lot to my solo dev studio. Path to Serenity my game does touches very slightly on themes of anxiety and the importance of spending time wisely with loved ones or pursuing passions. In the story of Jim, the protagonist, I explore how being apart from family affects his outlook, seeing the world in shades of grey and blue instead of the vibrant colours that once brought him joy.

Collaborating with this charity is a proud achievement, and I look forward to more partnerships like this in the future.

Please consider adding my game to your wishlist!

Thank you for reading my post and hope to see you at the next update!

Path to Serenity - Implementing Steam Next Fest feedback

Hey everyone!

With Rise of the Village Hero now at version 1.0, I’m excited to shift my focus entirely to Path to Serenity. First, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest and added the game to their wishlist—your support truly means a lot to me!

I’ve been working hard to implement the feedback I received from the festival. One of the key improvements is the addition of subtitles while Jim speaks, making the game more accessible. These are still being refined, but I’m pleased with the progress so far.

I’ve also focused on improving the overall gameplay flow to create a smoother and more immersive experience. For example, I’ve added reminders to help players navigate tasks, addressing feedback about being stuck—such as in the office chair task. Additionally, I’ve introduced subtle fade-in animations to better communicate the passage of time after certain tasks, enhancing immersion.

Right now, I’m working on finalising the last level’s tasks and objectives. My next step is testing and polishing, which I anticipate will be a relatively short process. After this initial phase, I’ll likely continue adding more content before repeating the testing and refinement process.

I’m looking forward to sharing some exciting announcements soon!

Development is progressing well, and I’m also working on enhancing the Steam page, so expect to see more gifs and improvements in the coming days.

Thanks again for your support—I really appreciate it!

Path to Serenity Demo available till March 4th!

Hey everyone!

I've managed to set up the demo and it's ready for you to try out. It's a bit nerve-wracking, but here it is. The demo is now live and will remain so until March 4th. I'm open to receiving feedback and will gladly make updates as needed to address any bugs or issues that are discovered with the demo.

Overall, the demo is quite short, offering about 15-20 minutes of gameplay if you explore everything, and even less if you focus strictly on the tasks and objectives.

If you enjoy my walking simulator cozy game, please consider wishlisting it on Steam. I would also appreciate any suggestions or feedback you might have. You can provide feedback by pressing F12 inside the game and filling out the feedback form. If you would like to see more of something or less of let me know. If you encounter any bugs, just indicate them in the form.

You only need to fill in the subject of your feedback and the content; you don't need to add your email if you prefer not to.

Your feedback means a lot to me. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy playing the demo!

The demo will be available for the Steam next fest as well up untill 4th March so quite a bit of time to try it out.

Thank you again for your support.
