Welcome!
We have plenty of news to share and a few interesting technical aspects of the game.
First of all, we would like to announce the Early Access release date. On
November 20, 2025, you’ll be able to purchase Early Access on Steam and play our game for the very first time. To make sure this won’t be a blind shot, we decided to once again release a refreshed demo version — it will be available about two weeks before the launch. We will let you know as soon as the demo is ready. The demo will cover a full in-game day, new tasks, and new mechanics that we want to present to you. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out the new trailer:

A few technical aspects
Game language
At the very beginning, you’ll be able to choose from several languages. At a later stage of development, this place will feature a short quiz that will let you test your knowledge, and the game will decide whether you need to complete training before starting the main storyline.

Currently available languages: English, Polish, Spanish, Norwegian, French, German, Danish, Finnish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Italian, Romanian, Turkish, and Hungarian.
We also have translations ready for Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Czech, and Russian. These languages will be available later. As for other languages not yet listed, we plan to add them over time.
Avatar
We’ve also changed a few technical aspects of creating a new world or selecting a previously created one. You can now choose an avatar that will accompany you until the end of the game. In the view of all created worlds, the current title of the player will also be displayed. For example: Junior IT Specialist, Senior IT Specialist, Junior HelpDesk Specialist.
Game save
The save system has also been updated. First of all, tasks with a completion time longer than 9 hours will not disappear — they will simply be carried over to the next day (even if only a minute remains before the SLA ends). We want everything to work exactly as intended. That’s why the save and translation systems are our own custom solutions that we’ve spent a lot of time developing. We don’t want to use ready-made tools commonly found in indie games. We want to give you more. We want to show that IT Specialist Simulator will not only be a game but also a valuable learning tool.
Statistics
Next to the Map and Tasks tabs, you’ll now find a Statistics tab. There you’ll see general gameplay statistics as well as a breakdown by task type, such as networking or office printers. Each statistic has 4 levels — Locked, Beginner, Intermediate, Senior.
Achievements
We’ve fixed several bugs. Statistics are now displayed in every language available in the game, and more.
Gameplay
Router
We know many of you expect highly accurate representations of real devices. When it comes to the Router in the game at level 1 – IT Specialist, it’s an SD-WAN Router. We’ve redesigned the graphical interface and added a few new categories to better resemble the original. We still plan a few more changes, such as sending configuration to the router after changing providers, etc.
Switch
Switches have also undergone slight changes — some categories have been rearranged or removed altogether. Additionally, a new division into main categories has been introduced.
Firewall
Of course, we couldn’t launch without a firewall. Who hasn’t disabled the firewall to download pirated software? Hmm… some employees in our game surely have strange ideas! The firewall comes with a few basic functions. The main one, of course, is enabling and disabling it, which may cause some complications.
Control Panel
The Control Panel has gone through a small makeover. It now offers both small and large icon views. Several new functions have also been unlocked — you’ll definitely want to test them out!
RCP Reader – Time Attendance Recorder
The reader gained several new system settings, new animations, and one was fixed. Naturally, the RCP also has its own browser page. Once you gain access, you’ll be able to change a dozen or so interesting parameters. Each one is important — changing, for example, the GROUP ID to a value different from the procedures will prevent employees from being logged into the system. Most RCP-related tasks will have 24 hours to solve. The current number of tasks is 7 (network – 1, configuration – 3, system – 3). At Early Access launch, this number will increase to between 10 and 15. The exact breakdown by category can be found on our Discord.
When visiting the RCP page, you may notice a security warning — this is another new feature added to the browser.
Browser
As you may have noticed, websites have changed quite a bit. We didn’t forget about the browser itself either. We’ve added browser settings — you can now change your avatar and the main browser color. You may also find some smaller elements, though they’re still being designed. We’ve also added hover animations for the top bar buttons, along with tooltips explaining their functions.
Subpages
We also updated the wiki procedures view, added new articles to the HelpForum, and changed the way they’re displayed. Additionally, when you download a file attached to an email, a special page will open along with a download notification in the top right corner.
VirusPlus
In September, we’ll also focus on the antivirus to refine its functionality and usability in the game. We’ve currently added one category responsible for hacker attacks. It will display information about irregularities or system breaches.
Tablet
We’ve also completed a preparatory stage of tablet settings. The most important elements are already fully functional. You can now test how WiFi connection works. We wanted it to be more complex than just entering a password. We’ve used our experience with configuring company tablets, so you’ll be able to learn a bit from it. Additionally, we’ve added a PDF app to the tablet, allowing you to send and open PDF files with no issues (more file types coming soon).

Thanks
There isn’t much time left until the Early Access release. But remember, we’re doing everything as planned. We also ask for your feedback on our Discord. Thank you for every game follow, wishlist addition, or following Pixel Team Red on Steam. This is a hobby project into which we’ve put a huge amount of time, working daily on the game over the past year. We’ll continue to develop it after release until it’s ready for full launch. On our Discord, you’ll find not only the current task count but also our development roadmap. Once again, thank you for all the kind words and the warm reception of the demo — even though it wasn’t fully polished!
Thank you.
