【Major Update】Custom Officers Now Support Attribute Editing and Unique Skills!

Hello everyone,
We are the development team behind Mighty Three Kingdoms. Thank you all for your continued support and valuable feedback!

Today, we are excited to deliver our first major update, as previously promised. This update introduces a number of highly requested features, including custom officers with editable attributes, the ability to assign Unique and Strategist Skills, and the appearance of Hypothetical Officer Ma Chao. Thank you for your patience!



[New Features]

1. Custom Officer Attribute and Skill Customization:
You can now freely edit the attributes, Unique Skill, and Strategist Skill of your custom officers. The random stat roll option is still available for those who enjoy surprises!



2. Ma Chao (Hypothetical Officer) Joins Sandbox Mode:
Hypothetical officers can now be used as protagonists in Sandbox Mode and can be recruited in Story Mode as well.



3. Custom Keybindings Available:
Go to Game Menu → [Game Settings] → [Control Settings] to change keybindings. If a key is already in use, the system will notify you.

4. Increased Medicinal Supply Production in Cities.

5. Common Officers May Now Learn Unique & Strategist Skills:
You might encounter them with such skills at the Recruit Agency or Bandit Camps.

[Bug Fixes]
1. Adjusted the range of Pang De and the Artificer’s Unique Skills.
2. Fixed an issue where some custom officers required awakening to use Unique Skills.
3. Revised the Contribution and Guest Officer Rank requirement for Ma Chao.
4. Fixed a bug where soldiers would freeze during battles.
5. Fixed an error that occurred when using older custom officers.
6. Fixed the issue where the stat cap for custom officers was set too low.

Hello everyone!

We’ve just released a new installation package. This update focuses on fixing issues that may impact your gameplay experience.
The current version is 1.4.1, which you can check in the top-left corner of the in-game menu.

  • Fixed a bug where the Engraving system was not functioning properly in New Game+ (2nd and 3rd playthroughs)
  • Fixed an issue where manual stat allocation did not display attribute changes
  • Fixed an error popup when selecting cities in Sandbox Mode

ver_1.3.9 Update Log

Hello everyone! We've just released a new update package.
This patch includes fixes and improvements that may affect your gameplay experience. The current version is 1.3.9, which you can find in the top-left corner of the in-game menu.

[Fixes]
  • Corrected several text errors
  • Fixed a possible freeze/error issue in the "Kill the Chicken to Scare the Monkey" battle
[Optimizations]
  • Warehouses in purchased houses are now shared—you can now retrieve items stored in City B while in City A
  • Improved armor display on generals’ icons during battles and campaigns; remaining HP and armor are now easier to see at a glance
  • Increased the combat strength of several major bandit strongholds (current difficulty remains until strategist skill difficulty tuning is implemented)
  • Optimized NPC pathfinding in several campaign battles
  • The strategist skill level of the Yellow Turban Army in the final campaign has been restored to "Advanced" (previously downgraded due to a screen shake issue in earlier versions)
  • Adjusted the attack range of the dagger's second skill (note: distortion may still occur in 3x speed due to a Unity physics engine bug; we’re working on a fix)
  • You no longer need to repeatedly open/close the stat allocation window when recruiting high-level generals

Hello everyone! We've just released a new update package.

This update includes several fixes and new features that may affect your gameplay experience, such as adjustments to early-game blacksmith shop inventories and the displayed difficulty ratings of noble clan quests. The current version is 1.3.8, which you can check in the top-left corner of the in-game menu.

  • Fixed cooldown and screen shake effect bugs for two strategist skills
  • Fixed incorrect reward configurations in three battles
[Optimizations]
  • Corrected some reversed content in the story feedback after campaign completion
  • Adjusted blacksmith inventories in early major cities—higher-tier gear is now available for purchase
  • Adjusted the difficulty display of noble clan quests; previously, some harder quests were incorrectly shown as low-star difficulty
  • The Tomb now directly shows whether the horror effects are enabled or disabled

Hello everyone! We've just released a new update package.

This patch mainly includes fixes and new features that may affect your gameplay experience. We've optimized the caravan unlock conditions—now it will unlock automatically at Fame Level 4 even if you're not overloaded. We've also improved the Awakening quest and more. The current version is 1.3.7, which you can find at the top left of the in-game menu.

[Fixes]
  • Fixed teleport issues in Taishan Stronghold caused by missing navigation paths
  • Fixed occasional combat errors when suppressing bandits
  • Fixed portrait display errors when Bo Cai is the protagonist during combat
  • Fixed error when triggering both Awakening and side quests simultaneously upon entering a city
  • Fixed incorrect display of recruitment time for engraved generals
  • Fixed incorrect reward configurations in three battles
[Optimizations]
  • Enhanced the Engraving system: now you can choose whether to bring engraved generals when starting a new run
  • Caravan system now unlocks automatically at Fame Level 4 even without triggering overburden
  • Lowered the relationship threshold to access Clan Recruitment and Armory; previously required +10, now available if affinity is above -30
  • Adjusted the injury rate for permanent injuries; a previously ineffective formula was causing higher-than-intended rates
  • Sparring partners in Awakening quests will no longer die
  • You can now skip pre-battle memory cutscenes by holding Space, Enter, or Left Mouse Button
  • Defeated generals’ portraits on the battlefield will no longer disappear or disrupt shortcut key order
  • Reduced the number of enemies required for Awakening quests: Cao Xing’s requirement is reduced from 75 to 35, and all other characters’ requirements are reduced from 50 to 35
  • In newly started Story Mode saves, Yuan Lu will have a unique Awakening skill
  • The Tomb now directly shows whether the horror effects are enabled or disabled
