Island Spine Content Update - Patch 1.96

This patch added 4 new characters and 3 new storylines full of lots of dialogue that changes based on who is in your party, your choices, and whether you win or lose fights. This content was added to the region that I added last patch.

(Big Stuff)

-added tullis and meegal story line
-added kagverathul story line
-added Dairus story line


(Small Stuff)


-fixed issue with some automated music playing when it shouldn't over hand picked music.

-added color coding to some names in the dialogue that I missed.

-lots of little back end stuff you guys won't see.

New Region - Island Spine and quality of life update

(Big Stuff)

Added a new region to the game for exploring. New bosses and Story quests coming in a week

(Small Stuff)

-removed some npc's that I accidentally left behind for testing .

-fixed an issue where you could get infinite orbs after fighting cave crab boss if you didnt have enough inventory space.

-added system where worms (for fishing bait) spawn on ground when it rains.

-fixed issue where kagra's battler graphic was duplicated during his regular melee attack.

-fixed some dialogue that called the nature spirit by the wrong name.

-fixed an issue where only the arrow keys on keyboard could push and pull objects. WASD were not working, they now do.

Second Gen Evolutions Update

Major

-implemented all first gen evolution (this includes skills, evolve animations and conditions along with in game clues on how to evolve each creature)

Minor
-removed Kirpa meeting you outside your house and taking you on a tour of the farm.
-removed the Shattered and bouncing critters when you first reach the village.
-replaced some old battler graphics that used to be anti aliased with new hard edge pixel ones.
-fixed a bug where if you completed the tool rack before getting your first egg, you could prevent the first shattered encounter and basically bug the entire game.
-changed some dialogue
-fixed some text on interactive objects
-changed the music in the opening scene
-shortened the dialogue when you get your first egg to get things crackin sooner... heh
-reworked the dialogue in the first Shattered fight

Desert Zone Released

Major Updates

-added desert Zone
-added desert boss battle
-added desert boarding minigame
-compressed many of the games png files
-added new spirit companion "lucifer".

Minor Updates

-fixed some spelling errors and rewrote a bunch of item descriptions
-fixed issue where the marl ambush in the forest kept happening after you completed it
-reworked marl ambush from a touch event to an activation event with graphical bait
-sleep over in the tree fort in autumn zone now restores party like normal sleep
-fixed issue where Kira didn't despawn on cliff
-camera behavior fixed for certain skills in battle
-fixed an issue where the unmarked egg at the start of the game wasn't rolling certain creatures
-fixed issue with door to Swamp from Autumn zone.
-made changes to Lucifer statue in Autumn Zone.

Patch 1.92 10/22/20

-added new map
-added new boss fight to Autumn Zone
-added multiple story dialogue scenes
-added plant spawns to the Autumn Zone
-added new potion lessons with Kira
-added new steam achievement for completing said lessons
-made tweaks to flame form cast approach
-added 5 new songs to various areas
