  • Corrected typos in the post-game menu.

Additions and Adjustments

  • Added new options to the Settings Menu:
・Background Animation: Allows disabling background animation during gameplay
・Mino Axis Display: Allows showing the rotation axis of Tetrominoes
・Allows customization of behavior for simultaneous diagonal inputs
  • 1

  • Ultrawide Monitor Support:
・For resolutions wider than 16:9, black bars are now displayed on the left and right sides to preserve the 16:9 aspect ratio

  • Added a keyboard key binding feature:
・Modified horizontal DAS (delayed auto shift) processing
・Allows customization of behavior for simultaneous diagonal inputs
  • 1

  • On the Button Preview Screen, users can now return by holding the Cancel button

  • On the Replay List screen, replays from older versions are now listed:
・Replay playback and same-condition play are disabled
・"Open file location" function is available

  • Mino Axis Display is now always enabled in the following:
    ・Practice with Textbook
・After level 1000 in MASTER mode

Experimental Features
  1. On PCs without AVX support, the game now shows an unsupported hardware error and exits
On PCs that support AVX but not AVX2, a warning is displayed, and the game will continue
Note: Whether this behavior will remain permanent will depend on future market response

  2. The game now keeps up to 10 backup copies of user data (excluding replay data)

Thank you for your continued support!

Development Update: Regarding Tomorrow's Scheduled Update Ver. 1.1.0

Due to extensive modifications such as keyboard binding and control format updates,
the structure of related files, including configuration data, has been changed.

Additionally, as the update will allow the game to launch with warnings on systems that fall below the minimum requirements,
we have performed testing, but there is a possibility that launch issues may occur.

To prepare for this update, we kindly ask users to follow the steps below in advance if possible:

  1. Back up your Steam ID folder:
Copy and save the following folder:

    C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\tgm4\savedata\(Your Steam ID Number)

    Replace
  2. **** with your Windows user name.

※ Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default, so please enable the option to show hidden files in your system settings.

  3. Disable Steam Cloud before launching the game for the first time after updating.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Development Report: Regarding AVX Support

Regarding our previous announcement that the game would support only CPUs with AVX2 or later, we have received multiple requests for support of AVX (such as Sandy Bridge generation). We would like to take this opportunity to offer a renewed explanation and our apologies.

Why the Game Supports Only AVX2 or Later
Our game incorporates numerous features and effects that require advanced computational processing. To ensure these features operate smoothly, we have optimized performance with the AVX2 instruction set in mind.

AVX2 (Advanced Vector Extensions 2)
An instruction set fully supported starting with CPUs introduced around 2013 (Haswell generation).

By improving the efficiency of simulation processing and graphics processing, AVX2 significantly contributes to faster and more stable gameplay.

AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions)
An earlier extension introduced around 2011 (Sandy Bridge generation).

While it can provide some level of speedup as AVX2’s predecessor, the corresponding CPUs are older. As a result, in many cases overall performance does not meet the demands of current gaming requirements.

Background on Considering AVX Support
We received customer feedback requesting “AVX support,” and we conducted official testing within our company.
However, we concluded that AVX-compatible CPUs (from around 2011) lack sufficient performance for the high-level computations required by the game, making it difficult to ensure a comfortable playing experience.

Testing Results
Significant slowdowns or marked frame rate reductions in certain situations

A high possibility of unstable gameplay progression

Even if it runs temporarily, stable service delivery is not guaranteed

Reason We Concluded We Cannot Fulfill This Request
If we were to redesign the game around AVX-compatible machines, we would have to significantly reduce graphics quality and processing content to lower overall computational load. Unfortunately, such changes could also affect many players already enjoying the game on AVX2 and later environments, leading us to conclude that supporting AVX-only environments would be unfeasible.

Degradation of Game Quality
Adapting to the performance levels of AVX would require extensive optimization and resource reduction. This would risk compromising the game’s appeal and overall quality.

Increased Complexity in Support Coverage
Providing and maintaining multiple versions for different instruction sets would introduce significant risks and costs with each update or bug fix.

Request and Apology to Our Customers
We sincerely apologize to customers who desired AVX support for not being able to meet your expectations.
In order to operate the game stably and continue providing enjoyable content, we ask for your understanding that our recommended operating environment will be CPUs with AVX2 or later.

Future Updates and Ongoing Efforts to Improve Our Service
We take your feedback seriously and will continue to optimize and improve the game so that it can be enjoyed on as wide a range of environments as possible.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you very much for your continued support. We look forward to providing you with an enjoyable gaming experience in the future.
