Development Report: Notice of Version 1.6.0 Update

We are currently in the process of rolling out the Version 1.6.0 update.

----------------------Correction---------------------- 2025/06/25 17:31 (JST)

Due to a scheduled facilities inspection of the tenant building, we would be unable to provide emergency support if we proceed with the release this weekend.
Therefore, we will postpone the release until next week.

----------------------Correction----------------------

This update is scheduled to be completed by the end of this weekend.

Update Details:

  • Added EASY and HARD modes to ASUKA Mode
HARD mode can only be selected by players who hold the ASUKA MASTER title.
    Note:
Players without the title can still load those replays for practice.

  • Guideline Revisions
・These adjustments affect attack power in all versus modes, so any versus-mode replays recorded on versions earlier than 1.6.0 will no longer be viewable.
・Marathon mode scores will be affected, but existing replays will still play back (displayed scores may change).

  • Overhauled Input Device Handling
    ・Only XInput devices are supported.
・In the new system, up to 4 keyboards and up to 8 controllers can be recognized simultaneously.
・Any connected input device can be used to navigate menus while the game is running, and the device used to start the game will be assigned to in-game controls.

  • Font Change for Medal Counts in Master Mode

  • Added Entries to Credit Roll #2

  • Winners’ list for Event 2
Champion, runner-up, and third-place lists for CTWC 2025

  • Changed VSYNC Display in Graphics Options
In windowed or borderless-fullscreen mode, VSYNC will show as “On” when the primary display’s refresh rate is a multiple of 60 Hz.

  • Menu Exit Fix in Gamepad/Keyboard Settings

  • You can now exit the settings menu even if some functions remain unassigned.

  • Added Core Dump Output Feature
A new “Advanced Settings” submenu has been added under Options.
You can now configure dump output on application crash (default: “None”).
    Dumps are written to
    /LOCALAPPDATA/tgm4/dump
    with filenames like `tgm4_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.dmp`
(approx. 150 MB, or up to 3 GB in full-size mode).

Bug Fixes:
  • ASUKA Mode Replay Playback: Corrected a glitch in the fox animation during replay.

Development Report: Notice of the Second Open Test

We are currently conducting the second open test.

In the new environment, only XInput is supported.
Before the official release, we kindly ask all users who have been using DirectInput controllers to use this test to transition to Steam Input.

In the new environment:

Maximum number of keyboards accessible: 4

Maximum number of controllers accessible: 8

While the game is running, you can navigate menus with any connected input device, and the device you use to start the game will be recognized as the game control device.

Note:

Each time you switch between this open test version and the final product, your input settings will be reset.

You may play any currently ongoing events on this open test version without issue.

We appreciate everyone’s participation in the test.
It would be extremely helpful if you could leave comments regarding any issues (or lack thereof).
