Ver. 1.0.3 Patch Update Notice

Please note:
Ranking scores and replay data from previous versions will no longer be usable.
Changes in this update:
  • Implemented a fix for the issue where the game crashes immediately after launch
  • Ver. 1.0.3 will now launch in borderless fullscreen mode by default (to ensure initial file acquisition)
  • As an experimental measure, refresh rate will now be unlocked
  • This will result in some changes to game balance
  • Borderless fullscreen mode is being introduced for testing purposes
  • Minor difficulty adjustments have been made outside of fullscreen mode
  • For overall balance, SHIRANUI’s control feel has been adjusted to match that of higher-tier opponents

Note:
We are still investigating the issue where the game gets stuck on "NOW LOADING..." after launch.

Ver. 1.0.2 Patch Update Notice

Changes in this update:

  • Graphic adjustments
  • Tweaks related to issues caused by low-latency input handling
  • Adjustments to startup-related bugs


Please note: This update will render replay data from previous versions unusable.

Additional fixes, including keyboard binding support and other reported bugs, are scheduled for next Friday.

We will share our stance on other reported issues and feedback once internal discussions are finalized.

Development Update: Upcoming Patch Schedule

We are currently planning the schedule for the next update.
The patch will mainly focus on bug fixes and a test implementation of keyboard binding.
Bug fixes will be based on reports received by the end of Sunday,
so we would appreciate your patience as we aim to deliver the update by next Friday.

Regarding the highly requested keyboard binding,
we plan to include a test version of the feature in the same update.

As for the spelling of "YOU AER",
while it was intentional, we agree with the feedback that it appears to be a typo.
We will correct it.

Development Update: Keyboard Binding, Launch Issues, and Input Problems

Thank you for all the feedback.
In particular, thank you for your comments regarding keyboard bindings.
This is our first time working with keyboard controls,
so we released the game according to the Tetris Guidelines as specified.
We will consider improvements to keyboard binding in future updates.
This limitation is partly due to the fact that TGM was originally developed for the Japanese arcade market.
Since arcade cabinets only had arcade controllers, there was very little reference or data related to keyboard play.
Additionally, for fairness, certain simultaneous inputs that are not possible with arcade sticks are currently disabled.
That said, we will continue to review and adjust this in the future.
Regarding the issue where the game does not launch,
we are currently investigating based on the information provided by users in their reports.
For the issue where the game launches but does not respond to input,
please check the following points first:
  • To enable low-latency input, only devices connected before launching the game are recognized.
  • If more than one device is connected that is recognized as a controller via USB,
    the keyboard may not be assigned input.
  • If you wish to play with a keyboard, make sure no more than one USB controller-type device is connected.
  • Please launch the game after connecting the desired device.
